The real problem is the Cowboys don't belong in the NFC East. They belong in the NFC South. By being in the NFC East, we are doomed into a division of mediocrity until oblivion. And, then we carry that mediocrity into games outside our division. Who put the Cowboys in the NFC East? I don't get it!

Gutless, undisciplined, and cowardly collection of players and coaches. All the overhyped, prima donna players on the Cowboys got used repeatedly today, as most pundits, talking heads, and fan polls predicted. This team continues to be an absolute embarrassment to the legions of loyal fans across the country. You name it, no offensive linemen that can block, all-world D. Lawrence still hasn't made a play, T. Diggs is an absolute joke of a defensive back, Dak has inconsistent accuracy issues, poor running game, stupid play-calling, coaches looking totally lost, and undisciplined professional players that should know the rules in order to avoid penalties. Another collection of overpriced idiots stealing money from the fans and acting like they are good.....what an absolute joke. Thanks again, PT Barnum, (J. Jones), for providing an incompetent circus.

Getting tired of these "fought hard at the end" threads. Quality teams control majority of games from start to finish. 49'ers controlled this game from start to finish.

Dallas has for the last few years had a penchant to be losing then "turning it on in the 4th qtr" to "only fall short".

Should be a minority occurrence. Not the rule

Go Cowboys!

I saw nothing from SF to convince me they will win any more games this season. I watched a smoke and mirrors Dallas offense flailing about for 3 quarters again while refusing to make them pay for big mistakes. They should have been able to put the game away after the first half but couldn’t. They rode 50 yard field goals to a win over a bad team. Next week we will be trying to figure out why they look so bad and telling ourselves we shouldn’t have lost to such a pedestrian offense.

Not sure what all the doom and gloom is about.
The 49ers are just better. The record difference being that the Cowboys played in the NFCE while the Niners played real opponents.
Fully expected this team to fold after going down 13-0 and get blown out like the Patriots or Eagles.
However, this team showed resilience against a superior opponent. The game came down to the final play all you can ask for.
Anybody who thought this team was going on a deep playoff run was drinking that homer kool aid. However, going toe to toe with a SB caliber team was encouraging

I said this in the game thread I came out of this game less impressed with SF then I was going in..a good team would have beaten the boys today by 30, you have that many penalties and only beat a team by 6..I thought SF could be a tough game for GB, and now I feel they have no chance

In the end, SF still has a very mediocre QB in Garoppolo and the Cowboys couldn't beat him. They wouldn't have come close vs. potentially Brady, Rodgers, and Mahomes

49ers are going to get smoked next week. They intimidated us. Look no further than the start of this game. They talked smack all week, came out dancing while we came out timid and quiet. Think Green Bay will put up with that nonsense? We laid down for almost 3 quarters for them and they still needed our stupidity to win.

We did our usual trying to make up ground at the end of the game.

The Cowboys showed NO "fight" at all. And much less intelligence, while getting stomped-on by a lesser team. They'll have a good long time to think about how they stunk it up today.
