Does anyone else think this is a huge priority? Can anyone give me film of OL prospects that can fall to our range of 24 if that is realistic.

I need this to get over the loss - thank you.

We have many needs and a lazy Front Office who is terrified of its own shadow when it comes to impact free agency.

We need to be open to several positions come pick 24. This is a truly a BPA draft.

Always BPA in the 1st round. But I’ve seen the Texas AM Green pretty close to us on several boards. He’d have to bpa

When it comes to the 1st round and the Oline it should be BPA.

If that happens not to be an Olinemen in the 1st round, then we should focus on it later. Wouldn't mind picking up 2 Olinemen in the 2-5 rounds.

I think Evan Neal, Charles Cross, Ikem Ekwonu, Tyler Linderbaum, Nick Petit-Frere, & Trevor Penning will be in the 1st round. Tackles, Guards and Centers. Take the best one.
DT, CB & S are other positions of need.
I would entertain getting help at RB & TE.

Linderbaum will go Top 10- 15.

Trevor Penning would be BPA on a position of need. He could replace Tyron Smith at starting LT in a year or two.

I would entertain putting him at RT until Smith retires and moving Collins to LG.

Collins should have been the LG this season for whatever reason they dont want to do it. I think its possible he refused to play LG.

I've been there with you on some of their FA moves but they have zero flexibility this offseason. They are going to have to eat some really bad restructures (I hope to hell they don't touch Elliott's contract) or cut some guys like a Lawrence or Cooper just to get back into cap compliance and bring back some key guys like a Kearse.

They have to get at least 2 players that can make immediate impacts out of this draft.

Or Jerry is just sticking to his word when he promised Collins he would play OT. Granted, that was pre-contract extension and now that Collins has gotten paid, maybe we should consider moving him.

I'm coming around to this idea.

He's pretty good at RT so I don't have an issue with him staying there. But the flipside to this is what if Ball can develop into a realy good OT. You could then slide Collins to LG and possibly focus on upgrading C and getting depth along the OL in this draft.

Seems like Collins has the build for LG. Can't remember, but I thought Steele did ok at RT, he makes a good swing T.
I forgot about Ball. He's played a little at LT too. I didn't realize his rocky collegiate career.

Ball has talent but he won't be an easy guy to pull for, at least for me.

Are you talking about the accusations?

Yeah. And it's more than accusations as he basically admitted to "making some mistakes" and the victim was granted a restraining order. But it is true, he was never formally charged.

But he's here so hopefully he can play well at OT.

I'm not too familiar with the situation(s), I just briefly looked. I'll take your word, I have a hard time accepting that kind of trouble.
