Let this sink in Jerry, 9 NFL HC positions were open and Jason Garrett wasn't interviewed once!

for an NFL team there is no HC worse than someone like Garrett

Has a background in football
Was a QB
graduated from an Ivy League school
Football family
Knows to say all the right things
Had the demeanor of a HC during games and in PCs

all these fool people into thinking this guy knows what he is doing and so he hangs around and hangs around and hangs around while the team remains 8-8 so middling draft picks and no chance to really suck and get a top end QB

This!! So much this

I always joked that if JG spoke in a severe yankee accent and threw out just some football stories he would never have had a job. The fact that he robotically throws out CEO/Coach speak is the only reason people were confused and would just go “sounds great.”

The real tragedy is the wasted careers of some great players.

10 years of mediocrity.

The only close one is Marvin Lewis in Cinci. There was a reason people called them the Bungles.

People say Jerry isn't the problem? Jerry waisted HOF players talents here under lame head coaching experiments like Campo, Gaily, and worst of all Garett.

10 years of the last 26 was waisted on Garett and he couldn't get one damn interview? Not even from the NY Giants of whom he played for and coached for?!?!?

Yes, Jerry is why we'll never reach a SB again in his lifetime.
Been saying this for years and years... The problem in this organization starts from the top but there seems to be no appetite to change. As long as the lemmings keep accepting this it will continue.
Until we as Cowboy fans rally like the truck drivers... this will never change. The incentive to change is not there... Owner is fat, happy, fulfilled , SB means absolutely nothing to him. It is not worth the stress level as he won an easy 3 based on Jimmy. He just wants the money and fame of being the Cowboy owner. He has a sickness of ego that cannot be tamed. I
As bad as it is for us fans, its actually sickening to watch what he has become.
end of rant.

As someone who never wanted garrett and called for his head in 2008 after Brad Johnson.....color me unsurprised.

Interviews are one thing...Offers are something else. Watch and learn, grasshopper.
learn the English language. The question was about Moore getting any INTEREST. Getting called in for an interview automatically means hes getting INTEREST from other teams. Improve your reading comprehension, Grasshopper.

Booger was slick....the manner (let time drag by) in which The Clapping Carrot was "let go" never resulted in Booger having ANY kind of a post firing press conference that 99.9% of the time follow such an event....no chance for any questions thrown at him in regard to 10 wasted long years. Just didn't want Booger to think that it went unnoticed by everyone....it didn't.

I can see him not coaching in the nfl as a head coach ever. Great job Jerry.
Wait wait wait. According to Jerry 5 teams would be interested in him. Still waiting on these 5 teams to appear.

And that, in a nutshell, is why teams change coaches every two years.

Everyone wants the next young 'genius' and more often than not, they arent ready....

Or they have some success early on due to weak schedules and no film on what they are doing...only to fizzle out before long anyway.

I really don't understand why it's more popular to have your locker room commanded by some dorky looking dude than a man like Jim Caldwell or Marvin Lewis.
yeah the owners dont really look for great coaches or leaders, they just want the latest hot DC or OC to be their HC.
Being a good DC or OC does not mean you have good leadership skills , or people skills, game mgmt skills, drafting and FA skills etc etc.(judge had none of these lol)
All it means is you have done well running a defense or offense.
Sometimes their success is due more to the players they have than their coaching ability's.

Daboll had josh allen, now he will have D.JOnes, and a weak offense , so lets see how he does now.

Let’s not forget our great GM said this in 2019

Appearing on 105.3 The Fan, Jones claimed that, if Garrett currently were available, he wouldn’t be available for long.

“If Jason Garrett had been out on the market two weeks ago, he would’ve had five offers for head coaching,” Jones said. “I know that.”
well in 2019 that may have been true, but 2 or 3 years later not true.
Gm's and owners, are not that bright, when it comes to hiring HC's, I mean the giants hired judge lol and kept him for 2 years.
They just want the shiny new dc or oc, and hope they turn out great, when there is no reason they might.
They are basically hiring a new dc or oc, and have no real HC.

Having to be say OC, for a new team AND be HC, game mgr, game planner, player motivator, and team leader, is quite a bit to do.
Most of these guys cant handle all that.

And Moore isn't a serious HC coaching threat outside of Dallas either. Jerry always thinks he's the sharpest pencil in the box. He doesn't look around to see he's the only pencil in the whole stadium. All the rest of the pencils left out laughing decades ago.
