I don't think he deserved the pro bowl, so this is fitting. Then again, neither did Wilson.

If that’s the case then responsibility belongs with FO for not getting a good backup so they could have sat Dak longer….

Maybe Dak didn't want a fake Pro Bowl added to his name. To me, alternates always come with an asterisk. Especially as they go down the alternate list after multiple rejections from other players.

Yes you vote the players in for that honor but forget the actual game.

You could still get them together for skills tests. Qb challenges, 40 yard dash, strong man. That type of stuff is still cool, but there's no reason for any contact. No need to do anything stupid in the sand either.
