He passed on being the alternate of the alternate of the other alternate? LOL The pro-bowl is a joke. Anyone that makes the pro-bowl is pretty much a thrid tier guy and it should never be celebrated at this point.

Because of the silly scheduling.

Not sure they could do it in the middle of the season like other sports. But something besides one week before the super bowl removes players and relevance.

Funny how being selected for a Pro Bowl is soooo important during contract negotiations and status over no Pro Bowl called players... yet Pro Bowl stops being important after the big contract is signed.

I am curious are there any Pro Bowl selections this year who decided to not go and are negotiating contracts right now?

I stopped watching the Pro Bowl long time ago, it is a farce, but players and media need to stop hyping and bragging about the Pro Bowl selection as if it was the next thing after a SB ring.
