Only TWO coaches I think can turn any team around regardless of talent........Andy Reid and Shanahan. What Shanahan has done with a 49er offense filled jags one of the best coaching jobs I've seen.

Watching the NFL the last month or so, especially in the playoffs, I am thoroughly convinced that there are 5-7 coaches in the league that can take their team and beat ours, then take our team and beat theirs. Among those would be Shanahan, McVay, Bill’s coach, LaFleur, etc, etc. I feel like when we win it’s in spite of MM and Moore not because of them.

Uh-huh. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the fanbases of the teams you mentioned feel the same way about their coach. The grass is always greener...

All I know is there is no way I would trade our roster for the Bengals or Niners because we have more overall talent then them. Those coaches get more done with less.

Jason Garrett can win with the Rams team due to the talent they have. Coach has to stay out and not make a dumb decision and let the better talent run the show. Most teams are not stacked as Rams or Bucs and those teams need good coaching schemes.
Not true. No coach- and especially not Garrett- can win in a toxic culture.

If we had a good or better OC calling plays that attack a defenses weakness then we may still be playing. If we had a O-Line coach like the one we had before in Pollard that also happens to be the bengals line coach now then we would he blocking a lot better with out the penalties we may still be playing. If we had both of those we would still be playing..

Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer are Super Bowl winning QB’s. Were they better than Marino who never won a Super Bowl? Sometimes you win in spite of someone not because of them.

I would say all the coaches you mentioned are better than MM and it’s pretty obvious.

Lol you can have an opinion, not only do he have a ring, his resume as a whole is better...lol

Maybe you should drop the Realist moniker

The offense scores mostly when we play bad teams.
Well… Yeah that’s kind of what happens. Good teams are good for reasons that prevent them from giving up a lot of points.

You’re not going to find too many good sports teams that give up a lot of points.

Said that going into the playoffs. People had everything listed prior to the coaching.

Coaching should be number one always. How well they study film, prep, and adapt during the game. We came in flat with no energy and generic plays off the bat.

Maybe his resume is filled with wins vs the awful Lions, Bears and Minny who is decent every now and then.

Zac Taylor appears to be doing a nice job, but Joe Burrow has been the biggest difference for the Bengals.

They did a good job rebuilding their defense too, which still matters despite what some here seem to think. You don't come from 18 down at KC if you don't get stops. Whatever Cincinnati changed at halftime worked. Mahomes looked mortal in the second half.
Mahomes made at least made a half-dozen bad decisions throughout the game that eventually resulted in his team's defeat.

And somehow you managed to miss the point of a simple observation. The point is directed at the people who point to Daks fluffed up stats to prove he's an elite QB. The fact is that he was 6-6 outside the NFC East. He fluffed up his stats in 9 games against bottom 10 defenses and a 10th game against Phillys JV sqaud in a meaningless game for them. But he is also the master of garbage time. He loves to get those stats pumped up down 23-7 (AZ)......22-7 (SF)...... Denver when we were down 30-0 before Dak managed 2 meaningless TDs in the final 5 minutes. So, thats 10 games out 17 against bottom 10 defenses and another 3 at least where he wracked up some numbers at the very end of games he gave us little chance to win.

Go look at how he played against top 20 defenses and get back to me when you have some facts. The dudes big numbers were a mirage, but I understand Dak homerism is a disease of judgement.

It doesn't matter , so is Belichek's against the awful, Dolphins, Bills, and Jets.

Again that Realist moniker is shrinking as we speak

I stopped reading when you said he was 6-6 blah blah blah. We finished 12-5.
