I say angry but optimistic. Be angry that you did not achieve the goals they had as a team heading into the season. Use that anger to prepare yourself and work on improving yourself as a player. Be optimistic that in putting in the work that it will pay off and you can achieve the goals you set out for. Being angry and feeling sorry for yourself to give up will never accomplish anything.

How about angry and realistic?

There will be roster turnover due to cap constraints, we likely won’t be as healthy heading into the playoffs, and we will be playing a first place schedule. Lots of status quo and “continuity” with the coaching staff which is not very inspiring when it comes to the offense.

Compete for NFCE? Yes. Contend for a SB? Not likely. I think we will win between 7-11 games in 2022 depending on injuries and how the ball bounces.

I hope the players and coaches are angry and optimistic.

I'm neither at this point. I'm just watching the show.

Pretty much. How do you go on a streak and beat some teams that were hot at the time and end the season like that. We entered the playoffs healthy. What was that playcalling we saw. The performance wasn’t up to par on either side. Coming out flat on Offense and the penalties. Defense gave the qb to much respect. Should have been in his face..

New season coming. Let’s be strong..

I don't know man, giving Jerry Jones the satisfaction of allowing him to make us angry is not an option.. If anything I'm more sickened by the fact that we have a prideful old man running our team who should be an auctioneer at a flea market as opposed to a GM..

Only thing to be excited about is Micha really. We’re losing too many good players most likely and whomever we replace them with won’t be as good due to the cap.

Could be gone.

Angry : The core \ longtime (relatively) Cowboys players seeing half - 8 - of their NFC competition reach the conference championship over the last 6 seasons.

Optimistic: 5 of those teams got there once - with 3 winning and advancing to the Super Bowl.
The other 3 franchises appeared 2 or more times in the NFCCG.

Time for the Dallas Cowboys to get it together and forge their way back into being a serious contender for conference & league titles.

How about "used to it"?

This is me. It's funny to me when some fans try to get under your skin when Dallas falters and it just doesn't even phase you. "Meh, I'm used to it. You're wasting your time". haha

Never angry, especially about something we can control. If it wasn’t for the rising defense I would be pessimistic, but it will be worth it (hopefully) to see the D get to that next level

We will cheer with wins and critique in losses, but I’m still on the hook and not ready to cut bait anytime soon.

It’s been 26 years since the team won a divisional round playoff game there isn’t anything to be happy or optimistic about. Just look at the mood of this board since the loss to San Francisco. Many of the fans hate Dak and want to blow the team up. This is a very disgruntled fan base.

idk

i do not see any thing to be so optimistic about as long as jerry is around

dak and his contract just make it worse now but it was bad before dak and it will be bad after dak if jerry is still calling all the shot

Numb, apathetic.

Like a family member you’ve given up on but still cheering them on.

Expect to lose, hope to win.

What is there to be optimistic about? The Cowboys just had one of the most talented rosters they’ve had in many years go one and done in the playoffs. They couldn’t even beat a good team and got embarrassed by a bad team that derailed them the rest of the season. They have high priced players that aren’t performing to the level of their contracts. The coaching continues to be inadequate. The ownership keeps spinning the same optimistic drivel year after year despite the disappointments. They keep telling everyone they like their guys and like their coaches. All we ever get out of Jerry is a bunch of ums, huhs and lip smacks. He’s asked a direct question and rambles for 5 minutes without giving an answer. It’s the same old crap with Jerry and the team year after year. We’re going to end up losing several good players during the offseason. I don’t see anything to be optimistic about.

I was definitely optimistic, But that playoff game was just pathetic. Every positive they built on during the season just fell apart in one afternoon. Then the final play of the year. Very disheartening way to end the season.
