The Dak fans must think they're living in a strange alternate universe.

Rodgers, who we were told is washed up won Daks MVP award.

Stafford, who we were told is a loser and not good enough, is playing in the SB.

Burrows, who was a 1st round pick - they never work out - is also in the SB.

Thats true, but he's got to do better according to his skillset. You get to that many deep playoff runs and fail to reach the Superbowl??? You're a choker, there's no way to dress it up.

Trent Dilpher and Foles got a Superbowl ring... should A-Rod and those guys be mentioned in the same breath?? Did all 3 have the same expectations placed on them based on them equally??

I don't see why people are so spoiled around here when this team hasn't done anything since the 90's. It used to be people knew that it was hard to get to the get to a superbowl, let alone win it. Heck when the NFC was dominate conference in the 80's and 90's there were a lot of teams that didn't make it to the Championship game in the division.

Because his injury demonstrates just how much they needed him.

It's just a sarcastic perception of "most valuable player" and the way it is typically described. One way to determine it would be to see which team drops the most drastically after a player has been lost for the season. Wouldn't that be a demonstration of just how important he was?
Doncha think it's not feasible to have your MOST VALUABLE player get injured? THEN proclaim him MVP when he didn't actually play? Perplexing.

Only on the Cowboys Zone do you find people calling Aaron Rodgers and Mahomes chokers. I'd be happy if we had a recent quarterback with their kind of playoff success..

Actually, read the comments of anything aaron rodgers on any article on pro football talk and see the level of hate is not limited to cowboys fans.

rodgers is arrogant, and has way too much money ( which makes him soft and lessens his desire to be in SB) I think he wants another ring,
but isnt willing to work as hard as he should.
Also his arrogance lets him think he can just show up and play and win.
And how do you know he doesn't work hard ?

Yes and no. No doubt their defense was amazing . I agree to a certain extent. When that game was on the line in 4th qtr who led them to game winning drive ?

In the end this is a follow the ball league. And QB’s are considered most valuable and compensated accordingly. Until that changes don’t expect them not to be the most recognized.
The reason he even had a chance for the winning drive was because the defense kept the Rams great offense to 17 points.

I'm no Aaron Rodgers fan myself, but the guy has proved himself; it is just ridiculous to call someone with 11 playoffs wins a super bowl title a choker. That goes doubly so when people here will keep on insisting our quaterback is "clutch" and not a choker come next season.

I dont it is all speculation.
He has the talent, arm, smarts, that is why he is renowned and was voted mvp.
So why else would he not have made it to a SB or 2 in last 11 years ??

Except for this past game he has played well enough to get back. For all the playoff games this past game was the outlier. His defenses have never been top ten. The one year it was, they were in the Super Bowl. His special teams this year were the worst in the league and have been pretty much bottom feeders for the past 10 years. His defense played well this year but since the super bowl have been horrendous. Dom Capers except for his first couple of years was horrible and Mike Petines defense could only stop the Bears. Its a team game but for the most part of Aaron Rodgers career it has been Aaron needs to play like an MVP every game to win. Rodgers plays with Davante, top WR in the league but his #2 and 3 guys were Allen Lazard and Scantling guys who are more inconsistent than any other teams no 2 and 3 receivers. His TE was ancient Mercedes Lewis. STafford plays with Cupp then Woods, Jefferson, Odell and Higbee. Brady last year played with Mike Evans, AB and Gronkowski. But even with those disparities, if the other parts of the team had a defense or special team worthy anything they would have been back at least one or two other times. The Seattle Championship game was an epic fail not because of Rodgers but because of defense and special teams. Other championship games against SAn Fran, the Packers defense broke records in giving up rushing yardage. Those reasons are why he was ready to get out of Green Bay last year. Green Bay has no owner with the main drive to be a super bowl. The Packers want to be competitive every year and if they get to the Super Bowl great. Other than that, they still have 500 million in the bank so life is good.

Because Rodgers had a talented team around him during both MVP seasons, earned home field advantage both years, yet failed in the playoffs when it mattered most.

People will look back the MVP awards and wonder what happened.
yea, their special teams were really talented. Blocked field goal, blocked punt, missed field goal, and then only having 10 men on the last kick for San Fran to win. Yea, if only Rodgers had done more to overcome that disaster.

Dak put up more points on the Niners than Rodgers in their playoff loss

yeah, but there was also a 70 degree temperature difference & the game being played outside.
not apples to apples by any stretch.
