Dallas needs to decide where it wants to play Micah Parsons. Does it want to keep him off the edge, where he excelled with 13 sacks last season? Or does it want to return him to his true position at linebacker and let him impact the game in even more ways -- and potentially be even better than he was in his rookie year? Either way, the Cowboys could use more pass rushing support with Randy Gregory and Dorance Armstrong going to free agency. Karlaftis has the ability to transition his quick take-off burst into power and bull rush opponents, and he'd be an immediate contributor for one of the league's best defenses.

Not a fan of Kalaftis, it's probably not fair -.but it just reminds me of a certain Michigan DE.

I’d go OL there. The best thing we can do for our pass rush is to hold onto the ball longer on offense.

I like Karlaftis. He is a good DE to go with Parson. He can play the right side on run downs, and rush from the strong side. I think he gets knocked more than he should

Drafting a DE means Micah won’t pass rush anymore like he didn’t last year. If Hot Boy Dlaw is gone DE is a top 2 need next to LG.

This draft is deep at DE
He may be BPA he’s certainly near there. Offensive line help or offense is my guess. Who knows

As a strong side DE to replace DLaw he is a very good fit.

Same here.

It's such a slam dunk easy pick that gives us likely the best player on the board who fills a position of great need and importance to the team.

Downgrading Linderbaum cause his size is exactly why guys like Aaron Donald 'slide'. We all make fun of the overanalysis of size and speed during the season, when we see guys actually play, then invariably fall into that trap in draft season, dinging guys unnecessarily based on arbitrary measurements we are told are important.

It's one thing to downgrade a guy cause he's incredibly slow, or stiff. But to do so based on a couple inches of arm length, or 5-10 lbs, is completely ridiculous

I agree completely. I’m not passing on the draft’s best center for a ‘not special’ end that doesn’t get sacks.

The best this OL looked was when Frederick was anchoring the middle.

Linderbaum might not be the next Frederick, but he projects to be a really good OC.

I just don't see how he gets past Philly.

Kelce is 35 and they run a zone blocking scheme. Linderbaum plays best in a zone blocking scheme. If they had one pick, I'd get it. But with 3 picks in round one, I don't see how they pass on him and then have no center next season.

I think he’s a different player. He doesn’t have the power to drive opponents out if the hole like Fredbeard had, but he’s got much better mobility to position block and get to the second level. He can also hit moving targets ver well.

I see him as much like Jason Kelce and I think if we run a running game similar to theirs, he will be just as successful.

But because he’s so much like Kelce, I don’t think he gets past Philadelphia’s three picks. If he does, I change all other plans to draft him. Otherwise it’s pass rusher for me.

those purdue players have a toughness and mentality i like.

I'd take karlaftis over these guards and centers EASILY

He must hate the Cowboys. Linderbaum is a top 10 player and Karlaftis is ranked 30th and would be a huge reach.
