In all seriousness, you'd have to be clueless to want Mayfield anywhere near your locker room.
He’s a big baby and always has been.

I’m a big Texas Tech fan who has followed the red raider football team for years. BM was a starter at QB for Tech his freshman year, then got hurt. When he came back, then head coach Kliff Kingsbury made Baker compete with Davis Webb to see who was going to start the Holiday bowl game. Baker was “offended” and left the team. He was probably also aware of a newcomer coming the next year to Tech named Pat Mahomes.

Mayfield was great at OU but let’s be honest. It’s not that hard when you have 7-10 NFL players surrounding you. Is Mayfield an NFL level QB? Yes. Is he a top 15 QB? Not IMO. He’s a prima Dona who doesn’t handle criticism well. Welcome to the NFL Baker.

Dak haters, your time is now... lol
No its not, even those that devalue Daks'slobberers grade, know that Mayfield would never even be a consideration by this FO.
Dak has already proven to be a franchise invested gun shy, slow processor, and you think this FO would even entertain messing with a potential fragile ego?

I can't wait for the commercial where he and his wife move out of the stadium.
Y’all talk about wanting accountability with the Cowboys staff—I wonder if any ad exec’s head ever rolled for prematurely signing this bum to a massive multi year ad campaign…

Browns will regret this. He is the best they had in 4 decades , his injury hampered him last season

He has talent. But he’s also apparently kind of an arrogant jerk too. Has not exactly been loved by teammates.

Could Mayfield being taken by the Cowboys have a positive effect on Dak? Naw -- Jerry wouldn't want to risk a QB controversy.

Aside from that, Stephen would never sit still for the investment that would require. Such moves are strictly for other teams to ponder.
