$230M guaranteed for a guy who didn't play last year and will probably get around 6 games for being suspended, and is likely a bad person.

Blown away
56 million a year lol:cool:

for a guy who was 4-12 his last season, and has a playoff record of 1-2 and 2 div titles.
He has great stats, but loses a lot of games where he gets big stats.

Did not play for a whole season so will have to get back to where he was.

He is like dak in that his stats look great, but the results tell a different story.

With cleveland having a good run game, it might work out, I think he still loses once in playoffs.

They gave up picks that are valuable, and too much money for this guy. way overpaid IMO

The Browns probably do not make the playoffs next season. Between Baltimore and Cinci in their own division (both of whom have better rosters), the entire AFC West who are more loaded, and possibilities in the AFC East if either Patriots or Dolphins take a step forward, the Browns are not likely to make the playoffs.

I'm not so sure their rosters are better. Remember, the Browns had a ton of injuries last year. Especially the Ravens, who's so special on that team? I know everyone likes to blow smoke up Lamar's butt, but there's a reason he hasn't gotten an extension going into his 5th year option. They may end up paying him anyway for a lack of a better choice. But right now he's packing his bug out bag.

A big chunk of that $230M will be going to settle lawsuits. And the ask has just gone up

The Browns will make the playoffs.

Even with this trade they are worse than both Bengals and Ravens by a healthy margin (health being the key word). They are absolutely worse than either KC or the Chargers. That basically means that between Browns, Broncos, Raiders, Patriots, Dolphins, you think they are not only the favorite but enough of a favorite to have a majority chance to make the playoffs (with Indy as a very long shot).

also, the last season Watson played, his 4th quarter, down by 7 stats were far superior to Dak, without any weapons. It wasn’t even close.
Wow that's a heck of cherry you just picked...

No weapons?!? Did Watson not have Deandre Hopkins?

How many down by 7 comebacks did they each have? Also, how do their other QB stats compare?

(I looked and couldn't find the "down by 7" stats you referenced)

The Ravens had the most injuries in the NFL by a wide margin. In one year they lost their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd string running back (I think that happened in a week). They lost their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th CB to the point that they were starting practice squad players. They lost both starting safeties for long stretches of the year. They lost a starting DL, a starting LB, their starting LT, their starting RT, their backup T, missed their starting WR for the first 6 weeks and for the last 5 weeks were out their starting QB and I am almost positive I am missing some players.

As for why their roster is good. Just from last year they have the second best TE in football, an all pro LT, an MVP QB, a PB guard, some 1st round WRs who I do not know much about but seemingly played well. On defense they have 2 all pro corners and they just signed Williams who was carrying the Saints defense but they did not have the money to sign which probably means they have the best secondary in football.

There is a reason people talk about the Ravens as having a loaded roster. As for the lack of extension, apparently Lamar wants to bet on himself rather than sign one (which considering the QB deals of the past couple weeks I can see why) and you cannot force a player to sign. That leaves you with the Bengals who were a great offense minus the OLine and they are buying an OLine with some very good players (I would not be surprised if they also made a move on Armstead just to make it an elite OLine). I comfortably have the Browns with Watson has the 8th or 9th best team in the AFC (though they would easily make playoffs in NFC).

Jerry Jones destroyed the QB market.
I can see and hear their agents using the Prescott deal to justify these new massive contracts!
LOL......

……yeah, I was hoping it would make the Prescott contract look better but it’s not happening

I get the injuries, I just don't see their roster as much better than the Browns.

Lamar betting on himself? His rookie deal is over!! All that's left is the 5th year option.

Cleveland once again proves they are Jawas. Small, brown and always trading for junk.
