Lately I've been thinking about how long parsons is going to deal with this clown show.

Or, how much longer fans are going to put up with it. My fursona and suit are heavily built on the Cowboys, so I'm in it for the long haul. That said, I wonder how much more fans are going to put up with this.

We were willing to give randy 13 a year but not a more productive pass rusher? They wouldn't even bring smith in while we watch riddick goto the eagles for 14 a year. So much wasted potential on this roster.

TBs apparently.

Wait till they cut Zeke and don't re-sign TP next off season lol.

Again, I'm not too upset over who we let go. I just can't see the plan and am pretty sure they actually have NO plan. Lol

The plan is they have no plan other than try to resign their own for ridiculous contracts and if they can't nickle and dime everywhere.

They were willing to sign Gregory for $14 million a year. When he bolted, instead of turning towards other comparable (or better) options, they spread Gregory's $14 million amongst lesser players. In their heads two lessers players apparently equals one good player.

It's mind numbing how incompetent this front office is. It's hard to put into words, really, how clueless they appear to be when it comes to building a roster.

We were told by MM and Stephen Jones a couple of years ago that the old system of scheme before player was effectively over and best player would be taken and we would build around. How can we then not be interested in signing a player of Smith's calibre but want to resign Gregory for the same money.

I've no confidence they can evaluate talent on their own roster or anyone else's.

I think they have this delusion that people will sign with them for less because they are the Dallas Cowboys and "America's Team" which is basically New York Knicks syndrome.

LOL.

One, they had the cap space to make significant improvements, at least in one area.

Two, Stephen's "best approach" has resulted in jack **** for a decade. We've made the playoffs twice in the last five seasons. Guess what? What Stephen is doing isn't working.

Three, the Cowboys wouldn't know a good trade if it hit them in the face. They just got taken to the cleaners by the Browns in the Cooper trade.

Have faith in the process, lol

Slide Micah over to full time end and freakin sign Bobby Wagner already! Christ almight this front office is awful. 3 for 42 and we didn't try to beat it? Would've been a strong signing and the "we like our guys" argument doesn't apply here. There are no guys!

Problem is they freed up a ton of cap space and I think are 2nd in most cap space available. I have no issues with liking your team, but they restructured guys like dak, traded coop, and released Collins to help free up cap space. If they dont use that it was all for nothing. Especially kicking Daks cap number down the road looks terrible if you don't capitalize on it this year.

Well they did sign some guys. I think Za sign for more than what RG got. If anything I believe RG was their big signing this off season.

Very close in AAV, although the Gregory deal was longer and could spread money out more. Just doesn't sit well to me when you drop two starters in positions of need, and restructure players which raises your cap number in future years just to not utilize those savings this year. I know they can move part of unused money to next year, but the Cowboys are still just wasting half of the cap availability. The league's richest franchise spending the least amount of money is not a good look.

There is still time, but the options are running low.
