Travel well Big Cat....He was one of my favs
Not only do you lose friends and family but also sports heroes that you grew up with.
It’s hell gettin’ old...I don’t recommend it.

I came online to post about The Big Cat. Rayfield Wright is one of the players for why I am a Dallas Cowboys fan and will always be a Dallas Cowboys fan. Both of his Super Bowl Rings came in my Hometown of New Orleans, LA.

Also, he was one of my favorite Dallas Cowboys players being from the HBCU ranks. It was a pleasure to meet him and have my son meet him at an Awards Dinner. I will always remember the smile The Big Cat had when my son met him and I told The Big Cat I was raising my son up right to be a Dallas Cowboy fan in front of Steeler's Mean Joe Greene.

We were in prayer for The Big Cat to recover from his illness. But God wanted him on the right side of his Son.

Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Joh 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Rayfield "The Big Cat" Wright like the Hall of Fame Offensive Linemen he was knew the way, and led a life that paved the way for Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Cowboy fans on and off the field. He is now playing on the right side forever.

Sad to hear this. I wasn't around to see the Cowboys play in the 70s but I'm grateful for what Mr Wright did for the team. Condolences to the friends and family of the man and may he be in a better place with loved ones waiting for him he awaits for his friends and family on earth.
