Spoiled??? He was practically the only offensive weapon the 49ers had last season. Shanahan was going to run him into the ground like the Cowboys did with Murray. This a business decision.
Man thank you, I'm shocked at how idiotic some of are fans seem to be

Deebo has every right like any employee to negotiate the conditions of his employment. And I don’t blame him for being concerned about the toll his body is taking by the carries he’s getting. It shows how aware these players are of the dangers of being an NFL RB.

Free market societies like ours let him negotiate or move on with his current employer. If he gets traded the 49ers will land at least 2 first round picks.

This is all perfectly understandable. I just think it's the way he's going about it that's rubbing people the wrong way. A few weeks ago he basically pulled a Murray and scrubbed the 49ers from all social media. Now I don't know if this word is filtered here, so i'll just say, that kind of move is very "female dog" like. It's a 100% female dog move. That's probably why he was getting death threats and all manner of attacks on social media. And that might be the reason he wants out of San Fran. Just follow the crumbs. One thing usually leads to another.

****NOT-AN-OFFICIAL-SOURCE*** just said he heard noise that we made an offer for Deebo maybe a week ago. But with Stevie Jones in charge, it was likely for 2 5ths. yes this is just a rumor that Law put out. I have 0 proof if its true.

Jerry of the past would have given up two 1st rounders for him. But he'll probably be traded for more than just a first. Not sure he'll bring in two of them however.

Talk less? Teams knew we weren't paying 20 million for Cooper when he signed, everybody knew that, and they knew it was a league deadline.

The answer is no. I would not give up a 1st round pick or probably 2 first round picks, to get Deebo Samuel. I'd offer a 5th round pick because he is in the same position as Cooper or will be in a year when he will want $25 million a year.

A first wouldn’t get and even two might not
But I agree, I wouldn’t either and he will want 25 mil
I wouldn’t offer a 5th because that would be a waste of a phone call

I don’t blame him, RB will get you with all sorts of issues later in life unless you’re Emmitt. They don’t want to pay him for the dual use, he may not want it anyway, and he’s a 100% viable wr1.

lot of tough guys on the internet

I look at Deebo as a good, but not great WR, and a great RB type. It appears he doesn't completely like being a RB, so his value as a player anywhere else moving forward is not as great as it was last year. And yes, he wants a huge contract. He and A.J. Brown and Terry McLaurin are all in for new deals.

Only problem is Niners not taking a 5th for him unless you throw in a earlier round too.

A player that wants to be paid more and used less? No thanks.

His unique ability and versatility is what makes him valuable, without being able to utilize his complete skillset, makes him less valuable to a team. Don't want to trade draft picks and pay top dollar for a player that wants to be put on a pitch count.

This is the second guy that wanted to get away from Kyle because of how he was used. RGIII had issues to being a read option qb in NFL. Denanded a portion of the qb running plays be taken out of playback.
It didn't work out well for RG3. I can see Deebo wanting out.

Marquise Brown too.
