He is very robotic to me, hard to watch the game when the announcers are so bland.

I am watching New Orleans vs Tampa Bay in the USFL game this afternoon. It just goes to show you that I will watch anything football. But the voice of Jason Garrett ruins it all for me. All I hear is the man who invented the "Process" excuse and ruined 10 years worth of watching the Pokes. How can the USFL be so desperate as to employee the Raggin Red Headed Clapper? How desperate is Garrett to take this gig?

The more I listen to Jason, the more it sounds like fingernails on a chalk board. How in the world did this person get to coach America's Team for 10 years. He is the epitome of the Peter Principle. On another note, watching this league confirms how difficult it is to make the NFL. There is plenty of apparent talent in the USFL. I can imagine that every player in the league believes in his hear of hearts that he is NFL talent worthy. But for some reason they are not. Is there hope for these guys that they will be seen on TV and catch the eye of a GM or coach in the NFL?

I was channel surfing and came across a USFL football. I immediately recognized the football analyst's voice as our illustrious former head coach! I was like "hell nahhh"!! LOL

I caught some USFL and Garrett for the first time today. I had it on in the shop while I was puttering around so I was in and out on it. I gotta say.... I thought he did a pretty good job. I wouldn't have guessed he was a rookie if I didn't know better.

I thought his analysis was pretty good. It's just his dang voice that grates me the wrong way!! :p

You think he's really struggling for money? lol

Ridiculous blind hatred apparently leads to irrational thought.

So he wasn't a strong NFL coach? That can be said of boatloads of people that have been head coaches in the NFL over the years. Most of them. That doesn't make them worthy of this kind of irrational disdain. It's not evil or immoral. It's just a tough job that few excel at.
screw Garrett
