One thing that is difficult to question is Will McClay’s evaluation of offensive lineman in the 1st round. 2nd round is another story.

we all know that’s a blatant lie. But they’re going to sell the pick hard to the fan base, and a good percentage of those fans are going to lap it up. There’s zero chance they had him that high

He can move defensive linemen backwards. He absolutely needs coaching but you are at least getting first round potential. Cowboys got pretty wiped out there in a weak draft so it is what it is.

There were 2-3 day 1 starters available. Weak draft or not, Tyler Smith was a project pick and confirmation that the Cowboys are most definitely not in win-now mode

It would be a good pick if it was a mid-2nd rounder. Dallas needed a day one starter and I am not sure he is one. There were better players on the board…….
