Agreed, but WOW did the Eagles have a hell of a draft. Now sure I have ever seen a draft like that through 3 rounds. And to get AJ Brown too?

And lets not forget that they have another two first rounders next year. So we still own the division, to me because of DAk and they have Hurts. But the gap is definitely closing.

No question.....only coz of Dak but they are on our _____big time. It's why I was scared of the death of them getting Watson, Wilson or Rogers. The bottom line, Howie Roseman is loading that team with some serious talent, just a matter of time.

And we haven’t played a down yet. On paper though the gap has narrowed

We haven't been to the playoffs back to back years since 2006-2007. We haven't won back to back division titles since when? The 90s? The cycle of mediocrity. We fluctuate so much from year to year. It's what happens when your core isn't that strong and you make bad roster management decisions.

It’s only our division to lose because we have the best QB in the division. If it was up to many Cowboys fans the team would be in the same boat the rest of our teams in the division are at QB.

that and the other 3 teams had to get better, A LOT better to overcome the point deferential in the 6-0 beat downs we served up,..it was like preseason games for us. Seriously not being big headed , we destroyed the east and they needed to get tons better to compete with us..when healthy we are the team to beat and I'm with you..

our own fans think we got worse by losing some names

i say we wont miss them all that much, most of who we got rid of were often inured, suspended, disappearing in big games, penalty's waiting to happen, or poor kickers, etc etc.. While these were good players they had some weaknesses causing issues with our team.

we may have not improved as team but we also didn't slip as much as fans think IMHO, we were 12-5 last year and even if we give up a game or two im betting we still win the division and possibly a better team with slightly lower record.. IF Healthy especially at QB..

Those other teams need to prove something on the field before we start to even consider conceding that we are the best team in the division.

When was the last repeat winner of this crappy division? Even in a crappy division we've not come close to repeating. And the Eagles, at least, have improved immensely this offseason. And we have gotten considerably worse.

Pretty decent chance we finish 3rd this year.

This^^^ and getting way too comfortable with a win or two. Not understanding EVERY game has reasons for improvement but that's a coaching issue also. It amazes me how there were games the coaches didn't have a good pulse on the team. A good example, the penalty issues in the playoff. Are we to believe these issues just happen to show in the playoff, hell nah. I'm 100% sure they were issues in practices all season that were ignored or only addressed with a slap on the wrist. They should have benched at least one or two players if that what it took.

We 'd only need a view moves in free agency to power this team up but EL Cheapo thinks he has the blue print on how to win being cheap in free agency. While other teams spend money and win :facepalm:

The other teams have issues at QB and that's what may make us 'slightly better', but the Eagles have closed the gap especially and it's all about trends. What will it be like in the years to come? Right now I think we are good enough to win more than we lose in the division, but the better teams in the league will still spank us.

I don't want to be the 'division winner'. I want to be the superbowl winner. I think the worst thing for us could be to beat up on soft divisional rivals, and have a 9 and 8 kind of year, and the eagles slang their future picks to get themselves the qb of the future or the giants have an awful year and grab their qb of the future

We didn't get better on paper than last year and unless McClay pulled a miracle with this draft and knows something about these guys I don't or Quinn just works a miracle on the defense, I don't see how we beat teams like San Francisco or LA..
