I can't see it happening with Fowler being signed and us spending a second-round pick on a pass rusher. It was already very unlikely that the Joneses would over him anything worth signing for. Fisher just keeps putting out the bait anyway.

After the season he had his rookie year? Has Barr even had a season that good?

Parsons just needs to keep listening to Quinn and doing his thing.

Yes, but isn't he more of a pass rusher or am I thinking wrong? In the pseudo-3-4 fronts, we'll have Parsons and LVE "inside" and Fowler/Williams/Armstrong and Lawrence/Basham/Goslton "outside" with Gallimore, Watkins/Ridgeway/Bohanna and Odighizuwa as the three interior linemen. In the nickel, we'll have Cox and Parsons as the linebackers, with Kearse playing essentially as the third linebacker, then DEs Fowler/Williams and Lawrence and DTs Gallimore/Watkins and Odighizuwa/Watkins.

Nope, he's done. Let's roll with the young guys to see where they are. Then, maybe pick someone up after later cuts if necessary

He played off ball strong side lber in a 4-3. They blitzed him but he really never rushed off the edge. Im saying they should sign him for 2 years.

Unless he's a direct replacement for LVE, I don't see the point. If we play like we did last year, we'll rarely use a true strongside linebacker. We either use Kearse (4-3 sets) or use the pseudo-3-4 where two of the linebackers are actually ends.

We need a LB. I’d kick the tires on Barr, but we do need someone. Long term maybe that comes out of the draft but for this season I think it needs to be a FA that currently isn’t on the team

I agree, but Barr is more made of glass than Sean Lee.
