That goes both ways - did Dak make a damn play when the playoff game against SF was on the line?

Oh, and the Bengals were getting beat in the trenches the entire season and somehow ended up in the super bowl. How did that happen? Oh yeah, they have a QB who shows up in big games.

He tried making a play but we called a dumb play. Had our defense come to play and not given up 150+ yards rushing it wouldn’t have come down to that damn play. Put Jimmy G on this team and we wouldn’t make the playoffs.. .period! Good luck trying to win games with him throwing the ball 50+ practically every week behind a shot OL. Some of you are ridiculous! The ability was there with Romo and it’s there with Dak. Even the great Aaron Rodgers has only been to one Super Bowl because he can only carry the Packers so far. Very few teams have won championships when it’s all put on their QB. If your defense doesn’t step up in the playoffs you’re not winning and I don’t care who your QB is.

He doesn’t need to be carried just supported. He needs a defense that will step when it matters most. Aaron Rodgers hasn’t performed when it’s mattered most for over a decade because it’s all on his shoulders. Pat Mahomes will never see another Super Bowl if his defense doesn’t step up. He just lost one of the most dangerous weapons in the entire league. There’s a reason they say defense wins championships.
