Man, I'm such a Romo homer. This is so embarrassing.

And he goes all Missouri on them, and plays it off..

"Yeah [Jerry Jones lip smack], I can't just go in there and play. I have this whole full-on, professionally-recommended routine which was advised by my doctor. The only problem is my doctor never forewarned me about how foolish I would look doing it on social media."

Tony has a complex, because of Tom Brady, and having so many Super Bowl rings, and he truly hates to lose. That's why he's so good, with such limited tools. Romo actually hates, hates, hates losing.

But then, outside of that, he's just a little bit too regular of a regular guy, and just doesn't think things through too much. Like this back stretch routine gimmick right there, next to the golfer he's competing against as he misses his put in the game to beat you. Thankfully, for those who enjoy comedy, he eats too many donuts and blows his back out while media pans the camera away from Romo just as he goes into his fairy dusting, old fart fairy routine trying to remain relevant by getting in the doctor-recommended stretch in in front of the camera.

Everyone knows he's just a ham.

"I woulda been great —"

"My back! My back!"

I've pretty much always supported Dak. Even in hindsight, I still can't hate on him. Romo was great. Like Dak, who I think is still proving whether or not he's great, Romo gets too invested in the hyperbole surrounding being the Cowboys QB. After their careers, psychologically, they should both kick back, pop a beer or seltzer water and a legal hand-rolled and let that shee go. They need to be preparing for what their profession will be when it's over. Then, as the years go on, after so many. years of learning and preparing, you're better prepared.

All athletes should do that. You have the capital to be able to sit back and soak up some things here and there. It's easier to leverage you're NFL career if you're smart about it. I've worked with several former NFL players at other jobs they worked after football.

The NFL players union should also form a pact to support former players who hit rock bottom, like Barber. He wasn't a bad person. Nothing like that at all. He just had some struggles, These guys have so much pressure. It's pretty unbelievable. You lose a game; 3 million plus fans are in your email the next day blaming you.

I will say this. I think Romo could have led several of the Pats teams to SBs, just like Brady did.

OK, I'm gonna go finally run for cover. Busy day.

Good write up, brother.

I apologize for adding the laughing Muttley emoji in my response to @Ranching. I was simply being silly and kidding around. The truth is, I personally know what Tony has to deal with every day, 24/7, 365 days a year when it comes to his bad back. That stretching exercise that looks weird actually does help. I highly recommend it. I don't blame Tony for dropping down and performing that stretch routine right there on the golf course while competing. When your back starts stiffening up or wanting to shift on you, you have no choice but to drop on all fours and slowly stretch your back carefully. I cringed watching how Tony struggled slightly to get back on his feet and slowly walk onto the green to continue playing. I know what Tony has to deal with his back since I ruptured 3 discs (which required surgery) in my lower back as a search-n-rescue firefighter. Any injury concerning your spine, especially your discs, is no joke.

I truly hope Tony is able to do whatever it takes to feel better. Bad backs affect your every movement and ability to function. With age, they only get worse. Trust me.

Once again, my apologies for seeming insensitive and disrespectful towards Tony Romo and Cowboys fans. I was only trying to be silly and simply laugh off why I personally know is no laughing matter. Sometimes I personally have to joke a little about it just to get my mind off of the daily pain and limitations one has to deal with a bad back. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, especially Tony. That was not my intention.

I understand about the stretches. I have a spondylolisthesis, so I've had similar issues. And I realize the stretches work. Then again, I realize I'd probably look like an *** doing them on camera.

I'm not offended by it at all. I usually don't get caught up in the QB debates unless we have a QB that sucks. Then I can be a real pain. But Dak doesn't suck. And we haven't really sucked at QB for a long time.

Then again, I have to admit, we've pretty much only been really good, not like great or anything. If we're being real, all the glamour stats aside, the Cowboys may have been great during the Dez catch era. We just don't know, because we never got to play after that bogus call.

Don't forget how them crooked refs duped our Cowboys by helping the Packers during that high scoring divisional playoff loss at the end of the 2016 season. The crooked officials helped out the Packers against the Cowboys both during the 2014 & 2016 playoffs. Both times, the Cowboys should have advanced at least to the NFC Championship Game. From there, they could have won the NFC Championship Game to advance to the Super Bowl...both years under 2 different QBs.

I got the year wrong. That's the year I'm referring to.
