He has a chip on his shoulder.

He just needs a fresh start with a new team.

They are looking for big things from him this season.

His personal problems seem to be behind him.

Reverse that question and the answer is the same.

How many bottom half of the league defenses have won Super Bowls...? Dallas has had some good offenses over the last 15 years, but they still couldn't get over the hump.
How is that relevant to the topic?

The topic is not "offenses win championships".

Water is wet...true statement but not relevant...

I quoted and replied to your specific statement, so the topic of the thread is irrelevant in that situation. Because by quoting you, that made the topic of my post... your post. And in your post, you were trying to discredit the often used phrase " defense wins championships." So my post is directly related and relevant to your post.

WET- covered or saturated with water or another liquid. According to the definition of the word wet...water is not wet. The world is wet, but water isn't.

I think "coaches are excited about" is 50/50.

It sometimes alerts us to players that end up doing something.

It is dependent on which media person says it.
And sometimes we just have to keep that phrase in context. Coaches will get excited about a rookie or no name FA who can contribute on special teams. Fans expect anyone who gets highlighted to make the pro bowl that year.

Ain't that the truth. Even in positions where we REALLY do have stockpiled talent, someone gets hurt, then another and here we go again. No position is safe in football.
