Z.Martin has quietly become one of the all time Cowboy greats

Not if you were paying attention.

Yes, the man made All Pro his first year on the team, and again his third year. If anyone didn't notice that they're not much of a Cowboys fan.

Imo, of course....

If it wasn’t for Stephen Jones we would have been stuck with Johnny Manziel instead of Zack. That would have resulted in one of the biggest draft day mistakes in franchise history.

Hopefully a ring. If not, sure fire 1st ballot and will be in the ROH.

So you are saying that you are thankful that we have Stephen Jones?

Floaty you are talking out your rear end on this one. Did Zack go around bribing voters to make All Pro five times? Once or twice a fluke, not five times.
He's good....but he wears the star. How many guys go to the pro bowl for us that didn't deserve it? A bunch.

It's a shame we couldn't ride these great offensive lines we've had to a Super Bowl like Gibbs did with the Hogs, Jimmy did with the Great Wall and Parcells did with the Giants.
Coaching matters.

Nelson is great also but newer on the scene, Martin has been there a while as the best OG. again being ranked 1 or 2 for years is not just good to me.

They are the top two guards in the league, hands down. Yes, maybe Nelson has the slight edge now that Martin is 31, but, if he does, it's not much.

Stepnoski was wildly overrated. He just played between great guards in Dallas.

I watched the show on that line it was kinda cool to see what DT's thought of him, most said something to the sound of "Man you thought you were winning the battle until you noticed you were never in the hole the run was going through" when they talked about Step. Physically Fred is superior but Step was awsome at what he was askied to do. My opiniom of course.

Best in Cowboys history.

LT Tyron Smith
LG Larry Allen
C Travis Frederick
RG Zack Martin
RT Erik Williams

LOL, looks like your history of the Cowboys began in the 90's. There are some named Neely, Wright, Tuinei, Gurode, Fitzgerald, Manders, Rafferty, Niland who were not too shabby. Not to downgrade that list of yours, but just that there were some greats even before the 90's who were as great and actually more successful. But goes to show you how great of a history the Cowboys have. That's all we got now to brag about.

Erik Williams was the best of the best, T Smith does not compare imo.

There is a vast difference between being a pro bowler versus being a first team all-pro. The 5 times he was talking about was the latter.

Even more difficult to make the decade all-pro team as he did in the 2010s (playing in only 6 of the 10 seasons).
