Jerry can end the questions but doing the right thing and putting his two time SB champion coach, who is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, into the Cowboys ROH. It's a very simple question - why isn't Jimmy in the ROH?

The answer involves Jerry's pettiness.

Not at all. He already said he is going in. Its the media that keeps hounding him because they dont think he is doing it quick enough. I'm with Jerry on this one.

When is he going in? Why wait on setting a date?

They don't think he's doing it quick enough? LOL, it's been 26 years since Jimmy left. The media is right to question Jerry on this. He's taking his sweet *** time because at the end of the day, he likely would prefer Jimmy not be in the ROH. Jerry is petty as **** about how Jimmy gets a ton of credit over Jerry for those SBs. Jerry only said Jimmy would be in when it became clear Jimmy would be in the NFL Hall of Fame and the Cowboys would look downright stupid that a Hall of Fame coach wasn't in consideration for the team's own hall of fame.

Well they can keep asking and I am sure Jerry will keep getting upset. Its his team and he can do it whenever he likes. I suspect he has other players he wants to put in there as well before Jimmy and he simply keeps putting it off. Probably wants to make some big ceremony for them all. Maybe he is waiting until the team wins another one? Who knows.

He absolutely can do whatever he wants. But then the media and fans can also absolutely criticize him for his pettiness over the whole issue.

There isn't a franchise in the NFL that would be dragging their feet on putting their Hall of Fame, 2 time SB winning coach in the ring of honor. But we all know what Jerry is dragging his feet. And yeah, I think Jerry would probably like to win a SB before putting Jimmy in because it would kill the narrative that Jerry only won SBs in the 90s because of Jimmy. Because at the end of the day, the thing that bugs Jerry the most is that Jimmy often gets way more credit for those SBs than Jerry does.

I believe Jimmy could care less now that he is in the HOF. The reason why the question is even coming up is because Jerry reluctantly said Jimmy would be inducted soon on national TV.

It probably chapped Jerrys hide that he was pressured into it and is why he's being as defiant as he is right now, he doesn't want it to seem like he succumbed to Jimmy's media friends....it will be done in Jerrys timeline.... if at all.

Booger isn't stupid....throwing "sniveling" out there was on purpose, in hopes of getting Jimmy to raise a middle finger back at Booger and turn the ROH down. Don't fall for it Jimmy. If it ever happens, Booger will make sure to pull a Goodell move and have several ex Cowboys around him at all times to try and tamper the boos.....typical Chicken S move.

He could not care less about anything negative concerning topics that have nothing to do with attempting to sway him into doing things he does not choose to do. Classic narcissism.

33 years of commentary can be examined. His response is spin for customary negative questioning. His responses are deflections in regards to direct questions prompting proactive actions.

A visual cue is watching his facial reactions to questioning. When he is spinning, he looks generally eager and energetic. On the few occasions when he has been put on the spot, he turns to deflecting and his face turns somewhat rigid and uncomfortable. The differences can also be heard in his voice during radio interviews.

Each year and every time Jerry speaks makes it slightly easier to deal with the loser mantra the DC's have slowly established.
Although I crave a DC SB every year (despite the arse of an owner we have), it's getting to a point where I feel a tinge of justice watching/listening to an old crochety egomaniac's butt pucker up, esp. since he gets a pass from the media 99% of the time as arguably the worst GM in he NFL.

Jimmy is the only person associated with the Cowboys that’s in the Hall of Fame but isn’t in the ROH. I bet every player/coach that’s in the Hall of Fame is in their teams ROH except for Jimmy.
