Looks like JWs foot got rolled under Travis Diggs. Just a freak accident. But they happen.

Will be interesting to see how the FO responds. According to beat writer David Moore, Washington’s injury is similar to D-Law’s foot injury last year that caused him to miss over half the season. Hope JW recovers fully and quickly.

D-Law missed 10 games true, but he also got hurt about 6 weeks later than Washington (got hurt in week 2)

Thanks, AC. But you're still allowed to disagree with me, even if you don't in this case, as you've done many times in the past.

I don't expect, or want, anyone to react to my posts differently just because I've got "moderator" under my username now. I have no intention of bringing a ban hammer, or as we say here, benched hammer, to disagreements. I'm all about free expression, just play nice and don't bring things here that have no place here.

This place is about Cowboys football and Cowboys fans, and we all really want to see ol' Jerry holding up another SB trophy.

Lol, dude if Dak would have thrown it then he'd be in a wheelchair. JK, but seriously is this the same injury that Dez had a couple years ago that pretty much ruined his season. If so that sucks. JW was my pet cat going into the season.

Ted Lasso! Glad I took advantage of free Apple TV+ when I bought my new TV. Great series, very entertaining.

I have friends in the UK and love their soccer, so perhaps I'm biased, but the cross cultures were hilarious as they gradually came together.

Was Washington a one yr signing ? I thought earlier in Frisco practices he had a “ walking boot “ on at that time . Tough start to his Cowboy beginnings.

I want to say he has tendonitis earlier this summer. I don't know if the injury is related to that. I could be wrong but I vaguely remember Fish talking about it. If Uncle Fish said it then it's gold. Not sure about the length of the contract.

One year, barely over a million guaranteed - big money to most of us but chump change in NFL dollars.

I think he still makes the team, but he'll have to earn that next contract. Hopefully, he does.

Oh man that’s rough. Hang in there Washington. Yea a one year on the cheap signing. I’m not going to lie I think the season is over. Can we still undo the Cooper trade? This is the worst news ever.

Thanks I thought it was a one year deal. Rather then going out on a panic buy , totally not in favor of either Dez or Beasley returns would like to see someone already here step up and become a target like Cee Dee and Tolbert . Both Cedric Wilson and Malik Turner should have been brought back once they cut Amari Cooper loose .

I watched the play from the other angle and what sucked Wash had an all pro beat for a TD had he not under thrown it. That was a horrible pass that got him hurt…..
