Awesome video.

What jumps out to me, alongside the angles that the Youtube host mentioned, is just how mobile Smith is. It's one thing to know you should execute a jump-set or a hook block (and a big one for a rook), but it's another thing for a 320 lb man to beat the DT there in two steps. That's just athletic talent.

After watching him the first two game, Smith definitely has All Pro caliber talent at OG. Its going to be interesting to see if they keep him there long term, because his foot work has looked very good and his future may be at OT. Either way I think he will be an excellent 1st rounder. Pick #24 isnt too high for an OG, especially if he is a Pro Bowl caliber player

Tyler Smith is a work in progress. He's bound to improve with added experience!
I'm looking forward to seeing more of him next week. He's "strong as bull." :flagwave:

It was great seeing him pull off blocks that you could easily drive a truck through.

Smith looks fantastic for just his second game and should get better. Ball, 75, oh my.. whiffs and too rigid especially on pass blocking. He will get Dak on IR with that effort. Need to get a vet OT yesterday.
Ya if the cowboys go into this season with ball as their swing it could spell trouble unless it starts to click

smith needs to still work on his hand placement. he gets his hand on d-lineman backs to much will lead to many holding calls. needs to watch martin more he knows how to place his hands on lineman and overpower them. smith has really great power to stand up lineman and move them.

No doubt Tyler rolls out of bed every morning better than CWill and optimism is justified. But he is also making some mistakes & drawing penalties. So, just how much can you trust him in real games at this point? If I was a coach, I'd have some concerns right now about him starting games early.

Side note, just about every play Farniok was doing impressive things.

I’m noticing Farniok constantly in so many of these impressive running plays, with the narrator almost always acknowledging someone else.
