I’m noticing Farniok constantly in so many of these impressive running plays, with the narrator almost always acknowledging someone else.

I saw one play fairly early in the game where Farniok missed a block. Otherwise he was road grading folks, handling stunts well & getting to the second level. One of the plays in that video, he made initial help block, moved effortlessly thru traffic & picked up LBer and was 6 or 7 yards down field just grading the road as the RB worked along behind him.

Even on live broadcast they didn't acknowledge. It was comical.

It was a Chargers telecast, they’re definitely not going acknowledge their DLmen getting destroyed.

Wow. Were we watching the same game?

Ball had a good night. Had one really bad snap early in the game and there was a TFL as a result. But otherwise he was something b/t acceptable and good.

Fouts is as fair an ex player as you will find. He will call it like he sees it. I think they talked about Tyler on the play. It was just funny because Farniok was so much more obvious.

No doubt Tyler rolls out of bed every morning better than CWill and optimism is justified. But he is also making some mistakes & drawing penalties. So, just how much can you trust him in real games at this point? If I was a coach, I'd have some concerns right now about him starting games early.

Side note, just about every play Farniok was doing impressive things.

He had 1 penalty a false start. Let’s not make a mountain out of a mudhill

For his entire preseason?

Also, he could have been called for at least one hold.

Has only played 2 games. Had 2 holdings in game 1 (1 was horse crap) and had 0 in this game. That’s improvement. And no he didn’t get called because it wasn’t a hold. The video addressed that.

We agree to disagree. Simply saying he may do some things to hurt the team til he cleans some things up. So, not sure if coaches will feel they can trust him game 1.

#73 being dumped on his head....is not a great block. This guy couldn't grade tape for an NFL team if his life depended on it.

So in your opinion Tyler Smith will probably be cut for his worthless performance?
If it wasn't for negativity, some people would have nothing to say at all.

Already doing things Williams was incapable of doing physically

Note : Like #68 at center

Agreed.

Farniok and Tyler Smith need to start. Let them learn while they are legally killing people on the field.

And Cowboys need to sign Eric Fisher too. Fisher is better than Steele.

And Fisher would make a better swing tackle to boot.

Cowboys put up almost 120 yards + 2 TDs on ground, mostly running behind left side.

Your track record on these things is just not good.

But you keep doing you.

Maybe Denver’s front was better but in the Charger game the entire OL looked better . Hoping Smith Martin form an interior wall for some time to come. Farniok might be a better center as well . The running game both games is encouraging .

I didn't say he was going to be cut. He's playing out of position. How many times is it going to take for fans to realize.....we ruin players careers by moving them to a position that they didn't play in college?

We have a huge list of guys that fall into that category....

Byron Jones....moved to safety
LVE....move to SS LBer
Taco...to RDE....never had the speed to be a speed rusher
Lamb....to the X WR....

Hell...you can blame me all you want....But I got 26 years and counting of Jerry bumbling things up.

And I'm telling you right now....they are not doing this kid any favors playing him inside. He isn't a guard. And once the snaps are for real.....and he's actually playing vs real starters......he's gonna be a penalty machine. You could literally call a hold on just about every play....because he grabs the guy....every snap. The regular season isn't going to be pretty..and I won't be shocked when he is benched to be "re-evaluated".

If you can't see it coming....then that's on you.....
