At what point do we seriously start to consider Rush as starter?

Right now. He’s the hot hand. Similar to 2016, you STICK with the hot hand. Players like Ceedee and Brown have clearly improved since Rush entered the game. No telling how much Gallup will improve when he comes in as well.

you don’t take out a winning starter. Rush will remain the QB1. He’s 3-0 as a starter.

He’s doing his job as the backup, making enough plays to win while allowing the running game and defense to really dictate the outcome.

But make no mistake, our playbook is much more limited with him. Moore is doing a good job protecting him with lots of easy throws, playaction and bootlegs.

I agree.

Although I do like the THREAT of him taking over QB1 because competition is rarely a bad thing in life, and virtually never in sports.

you do realize dak was beating the east by 2-3 tds the last 2-3 seasons..can we stop the nonsense....

If I were McCarthy, I would let Dak start ONE game once he's healthy and tell him he must turn in the performance of his life or else Rush is permanent starter.

Anything less than a 45-7 Cowboys victory with four TDs from Dak, and Dak is benched.

Daks a more talented player. But don't fix what isn't broke. If Rush continues to win, stick with him, regardless of how ugly it is

Rush clearly reads the field and makes decisions faster than Prescott.

If there is one thing that stands out watching Cooper Rush play it’s how slow Dak Prescott makes decisions.

right

but the only way the cowboys can win with dak is to limit it just as much so if they have it going with rush i would just leave it
