A very solid game by Moore… running game was clicking and the passing game worked well off of it all nite.

Rush was prepared well, and the calls helped him stay within himself and execute the offense. Very balanced.

There were some big drops and some penalties that should have also kept some drives alive. I have been a harsh critic of Moore, but tonight he deserves some credit

Even good coaches will have one or two bad calls a game.

I yelled at him for same calls fyi.
KMoore had several questionable calls.....not one or two. The Red Zone play calling and game management regarding the 3rd and 1 was highly questionable.

Calling a game with your backup QB, 2 rookie TE’s, a rookie LT, a backup LG and generating over 400 yards offense was a great job by Moore. I’ve been harsh on him in the past, but this was a very well coached game by Moore.

I was going to make a thread about this, WE GIVE HIM PRAISE FOR THIS GAME, this game only we will see if we can continue to do so!!! Great job

Seems that Moore is calling a much different game with Cooper Rush at QB. I don;t know if his plays are being audibled out with Dak at the helm or not but the offense appears much more balanced and effective with Rush guiding things.

Moore did a great job. He finally stuck with the run. Not surprisingly, that opened up the passing game. And the offense did a great job with all those blitzes.

We really are a mash unit out there. Starting LT, LG, TE, WR 2, WR 3 all out. Our offense isn't exactly lighting things up, but that's still pretty impressive

I agree that a majority of the game was called correctly.

But in the most critical situations, Moore gambled when there was no need to. He tried getting too cute.
When we pass in that situation and it doesn't work CowboyZone calls it "getting too cute."

When we run the ball in that situation and it doesn't work CowboysZone calls it "playing not to lose."

I had no problem with the call. If not for the worst officiating no call of the season that was a touchdown and the play of the game.

Considering how effective the run game was last night, it would not have been called playing not to lose. Especially on the 3rd and 1.

I don’t want him here because I’m not at all sold on his ability to adjust and not become predictable, but yeah he called a really great game last night.

It really was almost perfect.

I just wish he would do this when Dak is playing, but I’m not all that sure it’s entirely on him.

did KM call a better game by balancing run/throws? or was it that Rush didn't audible out of run plays as much as Dak on packed fronts? anyway, just hope we get our running game going for the rest of the season. it'll help our play calling and make a lot of ppl look better.

Rush runs the play that's called. I'm ok with that. Only check out when you know you're about to get curb stomped on an all out blitz.

I would love to give credit for Moore playing more Pollard and less Zeke, but he should have been doing that 2 years ago.

I saw Rush go through his progression and throwing to the correct receiver. Often, I saw multiple open receivers and Rush threw to better option. He looked poised and like a veteran who isn't easily fooled. I rarely see Dak do this. He looks confused and jittery. He checks down so much and doesn't give plays to develop even when he has time. Sooner the team moves on from Dak the better off they will be.

And do you know WHY he was able to go through his progressions?

Because he had all day to throw the ball and sit back there.

Last year under Dak at the beginning of the year the Cowboys blew out the Giants 44-20 with over 500 yards of offense. Prescott threw for 300 yards and 3 TD's.

I guess that was Dak looking confused and jittery eh? Had trouble finding the right guy did he? Too much checking down for Dak that game?

You know why Moore looks decent right now, right?

Because he has a QB that knows what he is seeing and can put the players in the right positions.

The QB and the OC are in sync and it make a world of a difference. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Moore isn't begging that Rush stay the QB.

Pretty Boy Lex Luger! LOL
