Is Cooper Rush truly going to be a phenomenal player?

I like my qb to have big stats and one playoff win.

Well you would have enjoyed P. Manning and Drew Brees in their first 4, 5, 6 seasons just like Dak!!! You wouldn't have enjoyed Matt Stafford though, because he didn't win his first playoff game until his 10th or 11th season.....

You probably should reread my post and what I was responding to. It was in response to another poster stating he was hesitant to call Micah phenomenal. I simply said it’s ok to feel he’s phenomenal. But if it makes ya feel better, yes Diggs is phenomenal. :)

Nah bruh I was just asking sorry about the .mix up.

If you listen to the Dak haters, Rush is the greatest thing to happen to this team since their last Super Bowl title since he will rescue this team from Prescott. The Tampa Bay game erased Prescott's entire career of 22,000 plus pass yards, 106 touchdowns, and 55 wins. Dak can no longer throw a football, he has no idea how to read a defense, teams have figured out how to beat him (it only took NFL defensive coordinators seven years to figure out not to blitz him), and the Cowboys are doomed once he gets his starting spot back.

Take a deep breath folks and listen to yourselves. I'm going to be attacked on here for saying so, but the Cowboys would still be 3-1 right now if Dak was never hurt. The only difference is they would be scoring more points. I am a big fan of what Cooper Rush has done to this point but he has only proven he is the best BACKUP quarterback in the league.

Now if Dak comes back rusty, I am all for putting Rush back in there until he gets his rhythm back. Rush's play also allows the Cowboys more time to let Dak heal if he needs it. Okay, now I'm going to duck and run out of this thread before the storm ;).
No need to duck and run. this board is supposed to be a debate of opinions.

I kinda agree with you that we would probably still be 3-1. I'm not convinced because to me it looked like Dak's confidence was very low. He looked harried to me.

What Coop offers is a calmness, now how long he could keep winning is debatable. But I'm not sure he can be shook.

We all know Dak will play as soon as possible, so we will have the answers to all the questions soon.

Just my two cents, and all that really matters is Cowboy wins.:starspin:

It might come down to Coop-er really hasn't much to lose. If it turns out this is ALL he has...he exceeded a LOT of expectations....can we go back to after the first game and list names of "throw the season NOW"? :p:muttley:

Meanwhile...Dak seems to be having some pressure to perform to his contract and as a veteran status. The look in his eyes sitting on the bench during the Bucs game was...well...concerning. Meanwhile QB's like Brady are throwing Surfaces around. Not sure that is cool..but it shows engagement.
