Got a feeling Dak's first game will be Detroit

Dak will be back as soon as his thumb is ready, that may be next week against the Eagles or the week after but he will not be sitting when he can play. I think Rush has done everything you want from a back up QB but Dak is the starter and he gives us the best chance to win (most of the time). I am not saying he is elite by any stretch, I think he is middle of the road at best, some days better than that, some days worse than that. I have a feeling the fairy tale will end on Sunday at LA but who knows, if our D can play dominant we have a chance on Sunday. There is no scenerio in which Rush beats the Eagles though, not with how they are playing right now.

Ok, we will see.

I would definitely never predict 5-1 with Rush at QB and winning both the next two games.

But you are clearly just a homer saying homer things for the homerness of it. There is no rational explanation as to why you would feel confident other than blind homerism.

Thats the problem with homerism. Once in a while, when these wild homer accusations actually come true, what does it mean?

I'll congratulate you for sure. I hope your right.

We will see about what? Your a homer, its plain to see.
Whatever man. I know the limitations of the Cowboys. I'm not oblivious. I predicted last season that they would lose to the Niners in the playoffs and they did. I just don't see LA or Philly special. I mean Philly is pretty good. Won't be a cake walk but Dallas can beat them.,

CowboyRoy. Stranger things have happened. Would anyone thought Dallas be 3-1 after laying a turd against Tampa Bay?

I would like to see Dak back against the eagles if he is good to go.

That's a very hostile environment to expect Cooper Rush to try to get a win in but stranger things have happened.
I'm not saying it's impossible but that's a game where Dak would prove his worth.

That's why he's the starter to win games against the best teams in a hostile environment.

I agree but if he practices all next week he’ll probably play the filthy game.

If Dak was playing and you were predicting 5-1 he wouldn't be bothering you.

If the Cowboys are 5-1 going into the Detroit game and Dak gets named starter, he will be firmly on the hot seat. That is a lot of pressure.

I agree. Which is why I am hoping Dak is back for the Eagles. But if he comes back for Detroit, I have to raise an eyebrow. Looks like they are setting it up for Dak to win after a tough loss at Philly. That might backfire. Detroit is not a pushover this year.

Makes sense…Detroit has a poor defense; so no pressure on Dak to be perfect and precise after his layoff. Much better scenario than the Rams or Eagles.

you said they WILL beat them. I think they have a shot, but its not likely. Better shot against the Rams.
