Now that we see that Bennett is being used and making plays in NY. You have to wonder if Garrett knows how to get the most out of his players.

Not sure why some resort to using an ad hominem, instead of confronting the points made, which have some truth to them.

I'm not wondering at all.

Bennett played a lot of downs for us.

We have Witten at TE, one of the most productive TE's ever and was still in his prime when Bennett was drafted.

Between that and Bennett being given opportunities and failing when he got them, I can't blame Garrett for not using him more.

In other news Cheech and Chong are still trying to figure out if they're parked or driving down the road.

Thanks again for the great cohesive coaching staff, Jerry. :laugh2:

man, if it's "bad jerry" you're all over it, even when it's just "sources".

There is reasonable suspicion in this area to this point. However, the head coach is not the only guy responsible for developing players. Having good coordinators is very critical also. I'd like to think that we'll see significant improvement as the year progresses.

Felix Jones, Dez Bryant, Doug Free...just a few guys that are not living up to their potential. If Bryant was in any other offense, he would be the featured guy. He is grossly under used up to this point.

I think the “Witten is too great” is an easy excuse. Bennett has 3 touchdowns in 3 games this year for the Giants! He had zero for the last 3 season for the Cowboys. Witten doesn’t score alot of touchdowns so it’s not like he was stealing that production from Bennett. Cowboys struggle scoring touchdown, use his height-advantage. Looks like the Giants figured out the puzzle. Give the kid multiple opportunities and he will get you the game winner.

when a player does not make the most of his oppurtunities and there are other players that do, you blame the team for his failures?

Wonderful logic

This is a little off topic. But I also couldn't finish watching the game on Sunday.

The first time, IIRC, that I've stopped watching a game since that home opener vs. the Skins in 99 I think. (Thankfully I came back near the end to continue watching that one)

Ashamed to say that I DVR'd it as I was out of the house on errands, listened to the 1st half on the radio as I was driving. Went into Sam's thinking whoa, good thing we settled down, we gots this. Got back into car 5 min into the 4th quarter........still can't bring myself to watch the game.

First game I haven't watched in over a decade. :(

Don’t watch it. At least not the second half. I couldn’t watch the 4th quarter. That was some of the worst half of Cowboy football a fan would ever see. Greenbay-ish.

SAS:
-"I flat out don't like Jason Garrett" - Who cares what or who SAS likes?
-He undermined Wade Phillips to get the job. - No he didn't. That's just ridiculous.
-Rob Ryan should be head coach. - Why? It's not like he's ever had a highly ranked defense.
-Sources told him Wade Phillips would ask why Marty B wasn't in the game, Garrett would ignore him. What source???

a
Skip:
-What happened in Seattle made me sick to my stomach. Couldn't even finish the game. - Stop it. I'm getting misty.
-They acted like they won super bowl in NY. Hard to argue this comment. They were over confident for some reason.
-Tampa game is must-win game. Crossroads game. Not sure it's a must win, but they better get it done or it will be real ugly around here.

Changed a couple of things.

It doesn't take content or insight to be on TV.
