Crazy Neighbor

I've always been blessed with very cool neighbors. At least you live in an apartment; not really a big deal to move if it really get bad.

I had a different kind of problem. It was 2007 and my old job wasn't paying me good. My son was 2 year old and the new neighboors claimed he was making too much noise.

He was just being kid. We tried our best to keep a 2 year old quiet but they just weren't stopping harassing me.

One Sunday I was sleeping late and my wife woke me up. She said neighboors came to the door again.

I got pissed big time.

I went to the door and pulled the guy in.

Beat him up big time until he was unconscious. His girlfriend freaked out and ran away and called the cops.

Cops came.

I explained everything to the cops. They listened to other neighbors to understand the issue better.

In the end they took both of us to jail. They asked the guy if he wanted to press charges. He said yes. Then they told him if he pressed charges that they would press charges against him for harassing me and my family. Cops just couldn't believe how this guy could be such a bag.

In the end I got evicted and nobody pressed charges against anybody

Just get a better job and move to a house

It isn't worth it to live in an apartment.

Sounds like she needs to be moved to an upper floor. When I traveled to jobs for long periods of time, I'd get an apartment and request the top floor. I would always walk on my tip toes to avoid extra noise! If she is overly sensitive to sound she needs to move or deal with it. Is she an older lady? I would always get the guy/girl that liked to vacuum or pump iron at 2 AM, when I had to be getting up at 4 AM! Apartment builders need to consider noise dampening floors when constructing. It would cost a little extra but be worth it considering the headaches for years to come!
I have impossible neighbors in my subdivision. So no matter where you move, unless on an island, you will always have to contend with busy bodies!

3) Not a good idea to go down and talk to a neighbor banging on the ceiling. All kind of psychos out there and many packing some automatic weapon of mass destruction.

Anyone who has had issues with multiple neighbors needs to look in the mirror. Perhaps it's not the other person who is the "bad" neighbor.

Just like everyone thinks anyone driving 5 miles slower than them is a jerk and anyone 5 miles faster is an idiot, it's always the neighbor's fault.

I've been apartment living since I was 18, and am in my mid 40's now. This is the first time anyone has ever complained about me. I don't play music at night, and keep it low during the day when I rarely do. That's why I'm just mad and frustrated at this. I have my youngest son graduating from Baylor next month. It's not like I'm a young guy thumping bass at night. I even get on my son at times when he comes to visit to try not to walk on his heels, as it makes noise for whoever is living downstairs. This woman is just plain crazy.

For years I had an appartment on the pool and slept during the day. I can sleep through anything. But the slightest "Odd" noise will wake me up. Hang a set of ear plugs from her door knob.

When people mess with me, I usually find something like shrimp or fish and let that find it's way to their air vents. They only wish it was noise they were complaining about now.

You neglected to mention the driver who drives at the same speed I do, who just makes me nervous.

I disagree. I work for an apartment company, maybe even the one the op lives in, so everyone needs to rent an apartment. I need to keep getting paid. :laugh2:
