Madden 25 shows no respect for Dez and others in rankings

This whole cowboys DL is a beast, especially Spencer, who knew he would get so much love? Dez is also a beast despite 92 overall it seems like hes better than that.

I'm dissapointed in Barry Church's 75 rating and that Morris Claiborne is the #1 corner so i have to switch him every game.

Why is the hit rating so low on our defensive players..? The highest is Church with 87 and Carter with 90, Ware has a 85...

It is slightly different. Some new 'precision' modifier for running the ball. Their are just massive issues with zone coverage and playing defense in general. I only played the demo but it was enough to let me know that I am not capable of having any sort of fun with this game. The read option is defended so so poorly and the same handful of routes/combinations are easy money due to defensive issues that first cropped up years ago. No one at Tiburon has a clue about this sport.

I just started playing Madden 13 about 2 months ago (first madden game) but I can tell you that in Madden 25 the player movement is much more fluid and you rarely run into your own guy, just has alot more realistic feeling to it.

I agree, Madden always had an issue with zone for some reason. The issues cropped up before 2 years ago imo. Don't make me give you the year tho, but yeah i feel you. You would think they would get want to get pointers from the guys who make NCAA Football.

Sounds good, last year was amazing gameplay IMO. I can't imagine a more realistic feel. Can't wait tbh.

Happens every year. They reduce the value of the players because the team goes 8-8. The reality is that the team isn't equal to the sum of their parts.

It's really a terrible way to put together a video game ranking system.

The reality is that difference are made because of the coupling of players, the systems they are in, how they match up in that system, the coaches, the teams and players that they play against...

You need to update if you're on the 360..I've had my copy since Thursday and its only happened once. I paused it and it went back to normal.

The game as a whole is a big difference. Teams can gouge you to hell with draw plays if you're blitzing. Same with playing a 2 deep shell or base cover 2. You really have to scheme or control the LB'ers yourself. Animations are better pass rushing mechanics are better since your not blocking for 30 seconds too.

You havent actually played the game have you? Im not saying that its flawless cause it isnt but to say its the same game as 5 years ago is uninformed and couldnt be more wrong. There was a huge game play difference between 12-13.

Gonna pass this year again on madden. madden 25 looks terrible. The graphics were better in madden 08 no joke. Gameplay looks better though. Plus they have the cowboys ranked all lame. Well that and I cant afford it or xbox live or I still would get it lol.

I think the realities of the 8-8 season were more due to us going thru 6 different centers due to injuries and the entire middle of the defense being wiped out with injuries. That's why I prefer NCAA football.

I'm sure EA mailed it in with the quality of the game this year with the new consoles coming out.

I refuse to buy another game on this gen of consoles.

I love Fifa but I will not be getting it until November.

Back then, 92 was pretty good. Did something change?

Bryant doesn't seem rated too low, Harvin and White seem rated way too high.

For me, they lost a lot of realism. I found the deep passing to be more annoying as you didn't really get a lot of air under the ball. I didn't find the running that realistic. I liked the idea of the draft, but that was terribly unrealistic. Also, if you were playing dynasty modes, the teams with the QB's that could run would usually win or the running QB's would become the league MVP with ridiculous running numbers. And the trades in dynasty modes were ridiculous as well. A star QB could win the MVP and the Super Bowl and be traded 2 seasons later. Lastly, they got too much into the franchise mode and salary caps, etc. They should have focused more of their time on fun, realistic gameplay.
