Actually Scandrick was smart on that play, seeing as how he turned to the side to avoid the punter..rather than laying out and actually hitting the punter. The reason the penalty wasn't called was because scandrick gave the punter a chance to kick and come down. The Punter tried to turn his leg into Scandrick to initiate the contact and draw a penalty. The Referees for the first time decided to be smart, rather than hate on the cowboys.

By Collingsworth's reaction, I thought it was a 1st down for the Giants. Boy was I relieved.

And what instantaneously stop his momentum so as to avoid possible swinging legs of punters? He did exactly what he was supposed the do the punter tried to cheat.
