I for one would like to try this out. I believe in Nevis and Hayden stopping the run and hopefully they can get enough pressure on passing downs. I don't know if I'm banking on Kyle Wilber/Ceaser Rayford up against Jason Peters for a full game. That has 200 yard rushing game all over it.

Awesome avatar, dude.

I think Selvie has done a very good job as for Hayden I think as a backup rotating in and out would have been the best role for him but those are not the cards we have been dealt. I like what I see from him and I think he will continue to grow and improve as a player as he gets more snaps.

Funny, y'all can only name one guy that was over 300 pounds. Robert Mathis is a 245 lb 4-3 DE.

I think both have done a great job based on neither was being counted on to do much this year. With the injuries we have had on the DL, they have both been saviors.

They are good rotational guys to have but i fear they are in for a regression.

I've been happy with both of course, given our situation they've saved our tail. Hayden routinely has plays that impress me, including in hustle chasing down defenders downfield. Selvie has been impressive given the situation as well. Nevis looks like a good fat plugger type. Without Ware takind chips/double teams it will be interesting to see if all that focuses on Hatcher and what these guys do.

Watching the game at the stadium, I was surprised at how active Hayden was....it was really impressive. Basically, what it comes down to with Hayden, Nevis and Selvie is that they are high motor guys that just keep plugging away. There really isn't any quit in them. They may not have a full complement of physical skills, but what they do have they give 100% of every play.

Wilber did a nice job with the pass rush when Ware went down. Rayford didn't show anything.

I think George and Nick have done a very admirable job for us.

what are your thoughts?

They are doing admirable jobs given the circumstance. All our FA DL's had their struggles but they are fighting each week. Should make next summer interesting in training camp.

They are what they are. Two guys that were bagging groceries before we signed them. That they look "good" is more an indictment at how poor our talent is on the DL than anything

Both are doing a commendable job. I love the effort they are giving this season, but to be honest, they're best off as rotational players on a deeper defensive line (which we don't have right now). Selvie would probably be better off at right end, but to my untrained eye, he's been pretty good setting the edge. Hayden is just a tough run plugger. Truthfully, Drake Nevis is probably a better fit in the Kiffin scheme than Hayden is. I like Hayden, but in my eyes he's not very athletic and can't bring much to the pass rush.
