age had nothing to do with that injury, it will be a huge factor i his recovery time though Silva is done

That was awful you could hear his leg snap. Considering Andersons' age and an injury like that I bet he's done. Reminds me of The Joe Theisman injury.Just awful.

Weidman isn't getting much credit for this win either, but anyone who knows mma will tell you that he checked that Silva kick perfectly. Weidman is a beast and I hope he can destroy a roided up Belfort next.

Weidman dominated the first round while nearly knocking out Silva and his leg kick block which he said he practiced before the fight caused broken leg so Weidman should get the respect that he deserved.

Yep. The knee check is a defensive karate move also. It's intended to hurt your opponent's foot when he attempts to kick you around the thigh area.

millions of leg kicks gets checked every day in gyms around the world and its exgremely rare to hear of these injuries so its hard to give weidman to much credit for a freak accident
