Pregame overload

I think I've broken some sort of personal record on spending time on pregame coverage. CZ, other forums, all the Cowboys media sites, many of the Packer media sites, the national media, etc etc etc

So much. I'm 100% sure I am not learning anything new at this point.

I think for the first time EVER I am overloading myself on pregame coverage.

Frankly, I don't think this was possible prior to the internet.

Anybody else feeling mentally exhausted?

I am SO READY for the game to begin.

I have done the same this week! But when I tell myself quit looking at so much media, I think this could be the last week I do this until the draft, as it might end come Monday. I hope I keep over watching, reading, and studying for the next three Weeks however!

I feel ya, I long for the pre-ESPN and pre-internet days of the 60s and 70s when you weren't bombarded by updates on individual players at every hour. Times were simpler back then...

I'm just taking it all in right now and trying to enjoy the process..

I don't watch a lot of pregame stuff. I'll turn to the channel before the game and if the pregame is on I'll mute it until kickoff. Why? Because I know pretty much who's for the Cowboys and who's against us and can't stand the ones who week in and week out take subtle shots at us. It used to not be that way but now days these analysts have their favorites and it shows too much. They should keep it to themselves and be more professional. JMO

The older I get the less I watch any pre-game hype. I probably won't even watch the pre-game on Sunday. Don't care. Kick the ball off.

Been having TV on nfln and espn most mornings, but a lot is repeated every hour.
Sunday mornings have the Pregame shows on, but don't pay a lot of attention unless Cowboys stuff is on, other than that it's on mute.
Also, Sunday mornings at 10:30, flip between between local FOX & CBS channels for Cowboys local shows. Then at 11:00, 11:30, Jerry Jones show, then Jason Garrett show. Once in a while change to FOX Pregame show.

we should know how much confidence McCarthy has in Rodgers leg by 11:00 Central time. If he has Tolzien active, then he is worried. If not, Rodgers is good to go.

Yep. I literally don't turn the games on until kick off. That's why I check for the exact time. I never watch any pre games or next day talk show crap. I only follow news throughout the week and educated conversations with normal fans.

I've been camped out on this forum all week and reading all the articles I can.

Now, it's just time to deal with all the butterflies until kickoff. Ugh. Just like last week, I'm a nervous wreck.

After spending the last 5 years with nothing to look forward to during January but the draft/free agency and watching pregame coverage of other teams preparing for playoff games I'm enjoying every ounce of coverage leading up to the Packers and Cowboys. I don't care how saturated I get I'm going to savor every freakin minute of it because who knows what next year and beyond will bring. Usually this time of year we're all slumped at our computers with wounds still festering from the latest Cowboys elimination game loss talking about firing Garrett and complaining about everything that led to another 8-8 season. Once I submit this post I'm going to turn on my DVR and watch more coverage of the Cowboys/Packers and continue soaking it all in.

Lol at packers fans still holding onto this

Lol at Visionary aka Skip Bayless while he whistles past the graveyard.

Besides, you better hope he is hurt.

I'm with you on this! It's been a long time so I'm gonna enjoy every minute of it. I don't want the off season to start until February.

I was so used to Dallas playoff games that I taped over the 1985 loss to the Rams all but the first few minutes. Thinking no big deal right? For the rest of the 80s I wore out those first few minutes looking at the playoff graphics around the team name. So yes this is a big deal and something to savor.
