Wow, I wasn't the fan I am today back then...Seau would have been perfect as a Cowboy, Kennedy would have been 1000 times better than Walsh, anyone would have been.

Steve Walsh.

He was the 2nd pick in the supplemental draft, even though we had Aikman.

Weird pick I thought at the time. But they traded him for picks which embed up yielding Erik Williams and Russell Maryland, so I guess it was a genius pick in the end.

Oops, I saw this a second too late. Yeah, we would have have the first pick in 1990. Who knows who we would have taken, but Kennedy was the odds on favorite non QB.

Jeff George was the consensus #1 pick, so with Aikman's tough year we might have gone for George though I doubt it. Aikman's stats sucked but the team was AWFUL and he looked to have "it" even on a 1-15 team.

I remember when Phil Pozderac got his facemask nearly ripped off by a roided up Matt Millen. That's when I knew that NFL players were somewhat stronger than the guys I played against in HS. LOL.

Yeah, but getting the guy who broke WP's record at 17...how far did we trade up? 3-5 spots? I think he still landed in our laps, but I see what your saying and understand your point. If I recall we had 3 guys on our board ranked higher, people like Bennie Blades and I can't recall the other two at this moment...We got lucky.
