Once again. I am pumped.

They are bringing the cartoon tv show “Superfriends” from the 70’s/80’s to the big screen.

Wooooooo!

I’m diggin it!
Can’t wait!

Ps. Sports is really letting me down... grrrr.... good escape!

...I used to love reading the old "Justice League of America"...JLA comics back in the day!...I might catch this flick when it comes to TV...

Saw the preview yesterday watching the game and looks great. Especially Aquaman who looks like a cooler Thor in water. Can't wait to download it upon release.

Is it kind of off putting that the lamest hero in the comics...looks to be the coolest looking one in the Movie?

While watching it I was thinking....Aquaman looks badarse...the rest...not so much.

I have a feeling this movie will eventually be a flop...it might have a great opening but I think it will wind up being blah.

Actually surprised that WonderWoman has done so well and so many have said it was the best of the DC movies in a long time.

Didn't think of it like that but you're right. I don't like Affleck as Batman to begin with but you're right I was most impressed by Aquaman of the group and that's not probably a great thing considering the big names included.

I really liked the Dark Knight series bc of the grittiness/dark atmosphere esp with Joker, but not much else from DC tbh. I was more surprised it's coming out so soon so can check it out and the new direction they're taking it trying to replicate the Avengers (throw em all together, fans will always like someone in the group, etc.) Outside of Batman, DC is pretty boring.

Was talking to a friend the other day about the Show Entourage that used to be on HBO (think that was the channel).

During various seasons they made up movies and such for the lead character to be the BIG guy in.

Medellin movie - him playing Escobar....later they did a great show on Netflix called Narcos first couple seasons about Escobar (really great show).
Aquaman- they made a movie where he was aquaman...it was so goofy at the time nobody thought of aquaman in the films...now they have it in JLA and would not be shocked if he gets a spin off movie.
SmokeJumpers - I think that was the title of it in the show...he was one of many mountain fire fighters that would go up in the california mountains to fight fires. Now there is a new movie coming out called Only The Brave about a group of fire fighters that go into mountians to fight the fires.

Just found it odd that they made them up in that show as kind of a goof on hollywood...but hollywood took the stories and ran with them eventually

I think they all look pretty badass.

I don't know if the movie will be good, but I think they nailed the characters in terms of making them look like heroes.

I love Avengers, but the characters are definitely "in costume", which is part of their relatability.

DC is going for straight up living gods, and I'm into it.

I'm so burnt out on super hero films. At one point I was the target demographic, but I'm so many films behind and don't care. I think the best of them all were the Christian bale batman films.

I think it’s becaus we were expecting blonde hair, yellow and green outfit, clean cut aqua man. This guy looks like a porterhouse steak when you expecting a can of spam. Lol

I think that is why Guardians of the Galaxy has done so well.

None of them are really super heroes.

Just good action films with plenty of comedy.

They suckered me a little when I saw that Kurt russel was in it as his dad.
Similar to the way they suckered me with iron man 3 with Ben Kingsley as “the mandarin”....

And soon we get Black Panther, Avengers Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp. Marvel movies better special effects, music, acting, story, character chemistry, etc.
