Feel like this team is cursed and will of course misplay this situation.

If we move him to another team, he grows up, goes All Pro, and injures one of our key players during a promising year.

Or we keep him and pay him and he ends up another Jay Ratliff or suspended a bunch of games

If irving give us a high 2nd round pick, I take it in a heartbeat, we can use that pick to go back to 1st round and try to make a DT/LB combo on first round, like Vita Vea, Maurice Hurts, Da'ron Payne / Roquand Smith, Rashaan evans, Malik Jefferson, Tremaine edmunds.

How about Irving and REvans and our 2nd round pick instead?

If Irving keeps improving do you really want to give him to NE for the 64th pick?

If we don't keep him in 2019 we get a 3rd round Comp pick

i don't understand fans at times..they want a better defense and want the cowboys to go after FAs etc..well the cowboys turned over 18 players last season mostly on defense rebuilt the back half ie DBs etc which included a second year and third years safety and Jsmith coming back a career year.. they ended up having aroler coaster year like the rest of the team but ffinished 8th in total D, still holes and youth but IMO the dline is headed in the right direction and we should prioritize Irving and Dlaw, you cant keep starting over..FA isn't just bringing in new players, its resigning your own..Irving and Tank played well when both on the field together..add a Big ugly NT type through the draft and get these guys back for 2018 and we are in fact building the d..

the offense is easy , don't have all the injurys and suspension to zeke and i believe maybe some BUP depth at swing tackle and blazer WR thorugh the draft, rework dez contract and develop switzer and brown and this team will be fine..

If Irving does take another step up in performance you have two 15 sack players on the DL. And despite the posts here, Taco Carlton is likely a starter next year and he puts up 8 - 10 sacks. Collins plays 1T along with a FA or draft pick and you have Tyrone Crawford as a backup at multiple positions.

That is a very good line.

After watching the eagles DL dominate all year long. The last thing I want to see is them give up defensive line talent.
