That’s why I’m all about the trade down in the 1st.

The 2nd round is incredible this year.

Move down in round 1 then use all of those picks to get back into round 2 as many times as possible.

We're terrrible about being creative and getting role players involved.

As long as Wittens around this dude would cost too much for how little we'd use him.

Trade down with Atlanta if a pass rusher or Vita Vea falls.

Than down again with Cleveland, as they will be looking to move up so they can get D. Guice to go with Darnold and Chubb.

That would give Dallas 33, 50 plus 3 third round picks. Package a couple of those with your 4ths and wind up with 5 picks in round 2.

Really not too far fetched. Grab Harrison, WR, TE and you still have other picks to use on a LB and DT or whatever. :D:D

Just ridiculous.

Dak knows how to get guys like this the ball.

I was holding on to this for a post I was working on but this seems like a good place to put it.

Mike Evans vs Gesicki
4.53 vs 4.54 40y
1.60 vs 1.56 10y split
2.66 vs 2.65 20y split
4.26 vs 4.10 short shuttle
11.58 vs 11.33 60y shuttle
7.08 vs 6.76 3-cone
37" vs 41.5" vertical
DNP vs 10'9" broad
12 vs 22 bench

Antonio Brown vs Gesicki
4.57 vs 4.54 40y
1.58 vs 1.56 10y split
2.64 vs 2.65 20y split
4.18 vs 4.10 short shuttle
11.30 vs 11.33 60y shuttle
6.98 vs 6.76 3-cone
33.5" vs 41.5" vertical
8'9" vs 10'9" broad
13 vs 22 bench

Workouts aren't as important as on-field skills but he also tested better than AJ Green, Deandre Hopkins, Brandon Marshall, and Alshon Jeffrey. How well does he test if he wasn't bulked up for TE work?

Not just an athlete. Some guys can jump at the combine but they never do it in a game. Or they jump but they need to body catch. Gesicki has elite vertical but also outstanding body control and excellent at high-pointing the ball. Huge catch radius. He's not a traditional TE. Maybe he is not a TE at all. If a team keeps him in to block often, they're using him wrong.

He reminded me a lot of Gavin Escobar when I watched him. I didn't see a 99th percentile athlete on tape - I saw a guy who was fast but kind of one-speed and couldn't block a lick. He's way more talented than Escobar, but their style of game was worryingly similar.

I would love Andrews with our 3rd or one of the 4ths.

It’s funny... I just went back and watched Rico’s preseason highlights and he just looks so much better then all of these guys.

I wish we wouldn’t have set him out the entire year.
