It's ridiculous. The sport can absolutely be officiated in an objective manner that emphasizes safety and doesn't allow for concussive hits where guys are launching head and shoulders first into a guy's head.

It's an interesting study. Makes me wonder how much of it is cultural vs. business-related (i.e., a desire for higher scoring games which allegedly increases viewership and thus, increases advertising revenue.)

Ya-know? That whole boycott approach is the 'passive' means to an end,,,I believe the O.P should up his one man war being conducted on the N.F.L. by going active in his aggression by writing a letter to the Hitler-esque commissioner and mailing it,,,daily
