Would the Cowboys lose to Bama if they played a meaningful game tomorrow?

There is not a college football team in history that would beat the worst NFL team in any given year. It is literally men amongst boys.

Dallas would beat Bama by 50 tomorrow!

We would definitely win but Bama may keep it closer due to better coaching. I would trade Opie for SaBear in a heartbeat. lol

A Garrett led team would make the spread close; player embarrassment would be the saving grace. Let's be clear, Saban is not the only college coach that would give Garrett's "Keystone Coaching Staff" problems.

There is no proof that Saban is a better NFL coach than Jason Garrett. Saban largely wins now because he has all the top talent. Yes, he is a good coach, but coaching would be irrelevant in that match anyway. Saban could have all the best college talent and will get absolutely embarrassed by the worst NFL. Saban is smart enough to not accept the match even if it was offered to him. Wherever you set the point spread you can go ahead and give Alabama the points and they would still lose.

Alabama and any other collegiate team would get DESTROYED by any NFL team. Do you know how long it takes for the average 1st round draft pick to get acclimated to the speed of an NFL game? Some of the best college players take years to develop. Many don't develop at all. And that is with them playing alongside other NFL players. Alabama, as good as they are, will only have a handful of players go in the 1st round.

Even Alabama doesn't have NFL talent at every position. Some of those players' weaknesses are covered up by scheme and the abilities of the players around them. In other words, the Cowboys players would have 1 on 1 matchups against guys that aren't even good enough to get signed to a rookie free agent deal in the NFL. They aren't even good enough to be camp fodder. That game would be no competition whatsoever.

I would like to see the worst NFL team play an exhibition game against the National Champion college team. I would watch that game. I know the NFL team would win but I bet it would still be fun to watch. Imagine if an NFL team ever did lose? Wow they would never live that down.

Back in the olden times they actually had a game where nfl and college teams went against each other. But in modern nfl, it wouldn’t work. The raiders would beat Alabama by 50 points.

The collegiate All Stars would play the NFL team...and lose.
