Would the Cowboys lose to Bama if they played a meaningful game tomorrow?

Back in the olden times they actually had a game where nfl and college teams went against each other. But in modern nfl, it wouldn’t work. The raiders would beat Alabama by 50 points.
I think the college team actually won a time or two back then, but that was when the NFL didn't pay well, so many good players didn't go to the NFL.

The 4 horsemen of Notre Dame got together an all star team and played the Bears back then, and lost 22-0.

That game would not be fun if the NFL team played like pros. They would destroy Alabama.

lol @ this notion...imagine our OL or DL going up against Collegiate players with little to no strength(by comparison)
Cowboys would win by 70.

The Buffalo Bills or NY Jets would beat Ala by 2-3 TDs. Not even close. Ala has maybe 15 guys on their team good enough to play in the NFL. That’s a lot for a college team, but compared to an NFL team, the Tide would have half the talent. Jets or Bills would torch them.

I'd love for Dallas to play Bama. My only wish is for Dallas to hand 114-0 scored on Saban and arrogance...

Bama's Offense wouldn't be able to so much against our Defense. And no matter how bad the worst team in the NFL is, they would be able to easily beat the best team in College football the majority of the time. As good as Bama is not all of their players on the current roster would get drafted in the NFL or be guaranteed to last in the NFL. But, players on current NFL rosters are good enough to earn a roster spot on a 53 man team, which isn't easy.

Bama might have negative yardage. They would not score.

It was known as the Chicago Charities College All-Star Game, the contest was played every year from 1934 until 1976, with the exception of 1974, when it was canceled by an NFL players’ strike. Soldier Field hosted every game except the 1943 and 1944 games, which were played at Northwestern’s Dyche Stadium.

On July 23, 1976, the Super Bowl champion Steelers played what would become the last College All-Star Game. A horrific thunderstorm broke out in the third quarter, and video of the gamehas to be seen to be believed: Not only was the storm like something out of a disaster movie, but when the college team’s coach, Ara Parseghian called a timeout to try to get his players organized in the monsoon, the fans took the opportunity to storm the field. Eventually the game was called off in the third quarter, both because of lightning and because those fans on the field had torn down the goal posts and showed no signs of being willing to vacate. The Steelers led 24-0 at the time the game was called.
