Pretty sure Witten retired because of Garrett, Linehan, and Dak. He may miss the Cowboys or playing, but he does not miss the offense.
Would be slightly awkward seeing as how he spent the entirety of the Titans game telling the world how ****** Garrett & the offensive philosophy are and how Dak has to improve. To date some of his finest broadcasting work. I regained a level of respect for him. Thought he had been brainwashed the way he always seemed to compliment Garrett, etc., while on the team.

Jason's a diva. Retired the day of the draft. Comes back on a nationally broadcasted Thursday night game.

If the Cowboys make the playoffs I could see it happening because there is no Monday Night Football during that time.

Noah Brown needs more snaps at the TE/WR/H-Back role. Since Atlanta, he's been doing better and better.

Years ago there was a Disney movie with this lady that had magic ice hands. Anyway there was a pretty unknown song from the movie called "let it go" maybe you guys never heard off it.

If i were witten id stay my behind in the booth a cushy multi million dollar deal that comes once every 15 years vs going back to a team that realistically may miss the postseason

Id stay in the booth eat chilli fries and bacon wrapped chitterlings topped with sugar until i couldnt fit in the booth and had to commentate from the bathroom

I don't see it happening but the Cowboy fan in me will never forget the image of that tough-as-nails bastood running down the field sans helmet against Philthy , and hoping to see him rumble downfield one more time.............................

Isn't this sort of thing unprecedented? Has a player ever retired to the booth and then un-retired to come back and play?
That's getting pretty specific. Like has anyone ever retired played professional badminton then unretired in the same season?

Jason Witten is starting to realize he won't be back for MNF.

I don't want him back with the way he left the team. The front office was obviously caught off guard with him leaving
