Out of all the teams left in the fun, we have the best defense and the #1 running back in the league

That's a proven blueprint for winning the Superbowl...i like our chances.
 
This team has let me down the last (I think) 7 times they've made a trip to the Divisional Round. I'm still bracing for the untimely fumble or interception.

I'll believe it when I see it. Go Cowboys!

I feel ya man, I have a lot of hatred towards Greenbay!

This defense gives us something we havent had in decades though
 
We have a shot to win it, it's still unlikely but I am hoping it happens....I can't wait to talk smack on here for the next year about how Dak's team won a SB, there's a lot of people on here who hate Dak enough that they don't want us to win a SB with him.

If there is one thing you can be sure of, it's that far too often most people will be convinced they know something that they are incapable of understanding.

I love the enthusiasm of the OP, but the reality is those are just two factors - important ones, but there are more. For example, while statistically the Cowboys do have the best defense, it is only by a narrow margin over a few teams. And there is offense, where even though it can be argued we have the best RB (Rams can also make that argument), the Cowboys average fewer points per game than every other team still in the playoffs. It's going to be a fight.
 
I admit to feeling better about our chances of going to the big dance in a long time. the team's peaking at the right time. it's as healthy as can be expected this time of year. qb improves weekly. defense playing outstanding. an ever improving wr group. and of course, zeke.

I havent changed my mind, I still dont think Dak is a good QB, he doesnt need to be with this team, just make a few plays here and there and dont turn over the ball

Yep. I guess one could say that having the best remaining defense and best RB (arguably) is better than not having those things. I'm changing the direction of the discussion slightly, but one thing that has gotten little attention is the play of our Special Teams. That, I fear, could be our undoing down the road. We finally got a punt return last week, but we give up too many big returns and at times, at critical points in the game, and our kicker is iffy. It's too late to do anything on that front this year, but that is an area that really needs to be addressed this offseason, IMO.

Otherwords, ANY QB can lead a team to a Super Bowl with good D and running game?
 
Dak bashers are like a weed…regardless of tonality (positive/negative) or subject (could be talking about a sunset, for instance) of a thread…they always pop up to crap on the QB.

I came in here to read positives about our team, and the hate starts growing again.

Again, I hope we win it all because A.) I want the Dallas Cowboys to be champs and B.) I want all the haters to choke on Dak's victory. Heck, it'd be even sweeter if he somehow won MVP of the SB.

Fact check:
Actually Chargers have a higher ranked defense and Gurley is considered a greater back with All Pro recognition.

We’re right behind in both categories though.

We have the #2 defense and rushing offense with the leagues leading rusher.

With an elite defense and elite run game this team can beat anyone at anytime in any location.
