1. Couldn't stop the run. Need more talent on the DLine
2. Couldn't pressure Goff. Need more talent on the DLine.
3. Dak was mediocre, needed to be better.
4. Playcalling was not good. Example: Running into a stacked middle on 4th down. Oh, and into what might be the best DLine in the league.
5. Lack of aggression on D. It looked like we were playing prevent the whole game.
6. Lost the battle at the LOS. Both sides of the ball. This one ties in w/ 1 and 2.

There are many smaller reasons, of course, there always are, but these are the biggies.
I agree with all of the above.

Though Dak was better the second half. They totally sold out to stop zeke.

Was hoping the coaches would go pass happy in the 4th quarter. They couldn't cover our wr.

If we convert that 4th and 1 it's a different game. Didn't like running zeke right into the teeth of their defense

Byron's penalty was the game changer IMO - that was just a horrible call that had nothing at all to do with the play.
It may have changed everything if that penalty had not been called. Defensive Line needs a bigtime upgrade, there is
no question about that. The Rams O-line showed how far away our D-line is to being good enough.

Dak had his moments but as a whole turned in a decent game. The fourth down stop where Zeke ran into the entire rams d was a crap call. Easy to say when it goes badly but Id have liked to of seen us run another read option or something outside. The rams lines were tough all game.

It’s always the wrong call, IMO.

Anytime the defense absolutely knows what you’re trying to do, it’s the wrong call.

I'm sorry, except for a few moments, Dak rather sucked. He personally killed multiple drives.

This is why we lost.

The Rams offensive line dominated the game and the schemes confused our young defensive line. sheesh.. I'm the most negative poster on here, but even I can see we got out coached on both sides of the ball.

The final score doesn’t reflect how lopsided this game was.

The players didn't play well, but they lost mostly because the coordinators didn't put their players in the best positions to win.

Marinelli/Richard rarely stacked the box with 9 and 10 to dare Mcvay to come out of all those running plays. On the other side, Wade did consistently stack the box and his players sold out to stop the run, and the Cowboys just ran anyway, when all they had to do was play action, early and often, leaving Coop and Gallup to have a huge day. Zeke could have gotten his yards in the 2nd half once the passing game clicked.

These coordinators, I just don't trust them...and we DEFINITELY can't relay on their adjustments.

This team will forever get outcoached in most games, and in the playoffs, coaching will put a team over the top.

The Cowboys coordinators were damn near awful, and they STILL only lost by 1 possession. Different coordinators can maximize this team's talent.

D Craw is still crashing when he should be staying home on the play action passes, which is why Goff basically jogged to the clenching first down. Why didn't the coaches during the timeout stress to him that he HAS to play the Play Action and close in on Goff, and let the other front 6 stop the inside run? Nope! He crashed so hard he wasn't even in the play.

Coaching.

Outcoached. Outplayed.

But all in all, a pretty good season. But MUST HAVE DIFFERENT COORDINATORS and different offensive and defensive philosophies to have any chance at a Superbowl appearance.

1. We invested the 4th overall pick in an RB that had zero impact against the 32nd ranked run defense

That was big.

So was the missed 4th and 1.

Also Dak missing gallop in the 1st half when we were driving.

Those were three biggies.

How? This is just stupidity at its finest.

How? Because he continues to refuse to hire a quality HC. Would rather be comfortable than repeating the "mistake" of hiring a coach with power, control, authority who may overshadow him. He'd rather be in control and lose than win with someone else getting the credit, like what happened with Jimmy Johnson. It's why we have Garrett for 8 years and likely much longer. Why we had Wade, Campo and Gailey.

Jerry wants to be owner, GM and meddle with coaching decisions. Keep doing the same things and while hoping for a different result.

He wasn't great.

The loss was a team effort, but bad Dak showed up to play for too much of the first half, which tired out the defense, but they don't get excuses either. It was just a mess and indicative of Garrett coaching in the playoffs. The team didn't seem ready to play with the exception of a couple of players.

I'd say a complete inability to stop the run was the biggest reason we lost.
Absolutely!!

If you would have said we’d give up 273 yards rushing no one would have given us a chance to win.

If not for the Rams struggling in Redzone would have been a blowout.

The best team obviously won tonite and game wasn’t as close as the score.

Dak played Dak football, & turned in a performance good enough to win.

If the defense would've showed up, & made a couple key stops... we win the game, even with losing the trench battle.

The thing is, I don't feel we played terrible today, I think they are just a better team. I haven't felt that way about many losses. Today we were just outmatched phsycially.

While, I could nit pick a play call or two.... it's hard to hate on Garrett. He's grown a set lately, & turning into a coach finally.

Biggest offseason needs/wants: A new OC, & some trench help. We NEED some beef on the Dline. THAT was very apparent today.

Oh. We got hosed by the refs today as well. They made MULTIPLE game changing calls that went against us. 1. ticky tack hands to the face. They would've had to punt. Instead they scored a TD. 2. *** was that "in the grasp" BS...? Ended a drive of ours. 3. BLATANT holding on their 4th & goal TD. Watch that replay, & tell me they shouldn't have been called for holding. That alone could've changed the outcome. They also let several blatant calls go, that would've helped us. Ridiculous.

The Defense, especially the line is to blame for us losing. However, take away just those three calls/no calls, & the outcome could very well have been, us playing next week.

Oh well another season over, but at the least they turned the season around about halfway through this year. Who really thought they would have been where they were tonight. I predicted 5-11 to 7-9 and they did better than that.

Yeah. We get that. Sometimes it really is that simple. Tonight was one of those nights.

Byron caught the guys face mask and turned his head. That gets called every time.
