I could legitimately see the Cowboys go 12-4 and lose in the Divisional Round to a garbage team like the Falcons or Panthers.

Falcons, I'm not sure - but the Panthers are in the worst spot, from a roster standpoint, than they have been in years.

Plus Cam is a complete uncertainty at this point.

Eventually this myth will die.

Why didn't this theory hold true last year when prior to the 2018 season, the Cowboys weren't in the Top Ten for SB odds?

You mean coming off a year of horrible defense after the a Eagles win the Super Bowl and are heavy favorites to win the division?

Dallas is always heavily betted, and it lends itself to prop bets like these. The Cowboys are often overvalued in these because they're going to get played even with unfavorable odds that Vegas is very comfortable with.

Except in years when they aren't overvalued like they were prior to the 2018 season. And your explanation was that they weren't a Top Ten odds team because of factors from the previous season............. hence you shot your own theory in the foot.
