Mayfield, Darnold or Dak?

You’d pass on Baker? That’d be a ballsy move.

Ballsy to pass on either - both were taken by teams who were rebuilding (though for decades)

If you don't have a QB, someone would have to have a real good reason passing on them.

Dak is already proven for the last three years. He is the best out of the bunch.

If by "ballsy" you mean 'stupid' then you'd be correct

In the NFL you have to have an elite (or at least great ) QB if you want to compete Year in and tear out

An average or below average QB can get you there once in a blue moon but to be a consistent contender you need a great QB

Anyone who doesn't have one and passes on one is s moron

Baker Mayfield is everything the Browns thought JFF was gonna be. He's everything JFF told everyone else he was.

Too early to judge Darnold, he's still so young. When Dak and Mayfield were his age right now, they were heading into their 5th year in college

Hard to say. I haven't seen enough of Darnold and Mayfield. Darnold is on a trash team and Mayfield is better than Tyrod Taylor. That's all I really know about these two. Now going forward Mayfield is basically driving a car with 1000 horsepower. He's probably going to look really good. Ask me again after this upcoming season. It's most likely Mayfield, maybe Dak. I'm probably selling Darnold short because he's driving a 4 cylinder. I'm still not sold on Dak as a starter! This will be the first year since 2016 that the Cowboys are going in full force. 2017 was a disaster for several reasons. 2018 Dallas went in clearly short handed offensively.

You need to catch up with everyone on Mayfield. You're way behind.
27 tds in 14 games.
Entered his 1st game with his team down 14-0. Wins 21-17, ending the
Browns 19 game losing streak. Goes 6-7 as a rookie.
And now he'll be throwing to Odell.

I think you are going to be disappointed to see that the OC change will do little to improve Dak’s passing. He is the same player as he was in college with different coaches.

I get what you're saying, but it's actually Jon Kitna who will be charged with the
task of improving Dak's footwork and follow through. Good luck to you, Jon... lol.

Okay. I was pretty disappointed when Giants passed up Darnold so it is nice to read from you folks about Darnold not being as good as I thought he would be. Thanks for all the inputs.

There's a lot of factors at play too....Goff was an absolute bust under Fisher and based upon what we know, he may still be.

If Dak had Sean Payton's coaching and offense he could be a beast.

For perspective, I think I read that Dallas has not come from behind by more than 10 points in the 4th qtr in at least 4 years. I know there's a lot of talk about 4th qtr comebacks, but once we're down by more one score after the 3rd qtr, it's over.

Keep it close though, and we're ok
