Remember last camp when Dak was raving about Tavon Austin?

I always listen when players give praise about other players (as opposed to media hype), but Austin didn't really deliver. I'm taking the Pollard comments with a grain of salt until we see it in games, but it's nice to hear the buzz early. I liked the pick for us at the time, and he's a guy you can tell they're really going to use to disguise plays for other players, regardless of what he produces himself directly. I hope he can improve with his pass blocking, since that's going to be the case and it's going to be important.
umm BS only due to injury when TA was healthy and got some sort of rhythm that dude could have made huge difference..he flashed big time.injuries the issue, pollard injured?

Hard to say. He only played 136 snaps total last season. IF he’d stayed healthy and IF he’d played enough to get into a rhythm, would he have been a playmaker? Maybe. Maybe he’ll have better luck this season, assuming he makes the team—which isn’t exactly a given.

Never said he was a slug. My comment is just stating the obvious. He's a 4th round pick from a weak football program. Expectations for this kid are being blown out of proportion b/c we happened to draft him.
I believe now that a lot of fans share this opinion, didn't understand at first the responses I got in threads regarding Pollard .. ie.. second fiddle to Zeke, but I get it now.
I believe that most fans are not seeing the big picture.. Pollard isn't going to put Zeke on the bench, but what Pollard brings now, with a Coordinator with a playbook, is creativity.
Give me 3-5 plays a game with Pollard and I get excited,, he gonna get more than that though... I guarantee you.. just wait.
Oh, just one last thing,, not trying to be facetious at all, but you should check out some Memphis ball, and really take a closer look at Pollard,, he is going to be the steal of this draft and we got him in the fourth.
What Im saying is,, again,, another excellent pick that most wont appreciate now,, but how many times has McClay hit gold, and Pollard will prove to be another nugget, and will fit right in with Daks progression,, Pollard will become a Dak favorite at receiving more than carrying more than likely.
